New from @Ipsos_in_the_UK Keir Starmer is the most unpopular PM in the history of Ipsos polling.
Net satisfaction with PM -66
Meanwhile Reform lead at 12.
Reform 34
Labour 22
Conservatives 14 (record low)
Lib Dems 12
Greens 12

Whatever anyone's personal opinion on Starmer is, it's mad that this is the case. No one can tell me with a straight face he's worse than Truss, Sunak or Boris.
I feel we're at the point in politics where we're probably going to have one term governments for a while because a lot of our problems aren't something you can fix in a couple of years, and the voters have aren't willing to give anyone time to fix it.
They require long term strategy and probably cross party consensus which isn't going to happen.
Take the triple lock and WFA as an example. Badenoch actually suggested it needs to be looked into several years ago because it's not sustainable. Labour then try to address it and she immediately criticises the decision so she can try and court some of the grey vote.

A good campaign by the Lib Dems could easily see the Tories pushed into 4th place in the present climate

People go for the extremes, the full fat version over the lite version, look at NI pre and post the GFA, the major players prior to signing were the relatively moderate SDLP (Hume) and UUP (Trimble) and then immediately after signing and the creation of the NI assembly the major players were SF (McGuinness) and DUP (Paisley).
The Tories aren't just finished because Badenoch is terrible at her job, they're finished because they haven't even realised the rules and parameters of the game has changed.

Hamas claims it has lost communication with two Israeli hostages due to the Israeli military operation in Gaza City. Hamas demands that the IDF pulls back its forces from the area and stops drone flights & airstrikes for 24 hours so that it could try and locate the two hostages

President Trump told Axios that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is on board with his plan.
📝The main principles of the deal are:
— The release of all remaining hostages within 48 hours of a ceasefire.
— A permanent ceasefire.
— Gradual Israeli withdrawal from all of the Gaza Strip.
— Israel's release of around 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences for killing Israelis, and around 2,000 Palestinians who have been detained in Gaza since October 7.
— A post-war plan that includes a governing mechanism in Gaza without Hamas. This will include an international and Arab board with a Palestinian Authority representative, and a technocratic government of unaffiliated Palestinians in Gaza.
— A security force that would include Palestinians, but also soldiers from Arab and Muslim countries.
— Funding from Arab and Muslim countries for the new administration in Gaza, and for reconstruction and development of the enclave.
— Some involvement of the Palestinian Authority in the new governing mechanism in Gaza.
— A process of disarming Hamas and demilitarizing Gaza, which includes destroying all remaining heavy weapons and tunnels.
— Amnesty for Hamas members who disavow violence and want to stay in Gaza, and safe passage out of the enclave for Hamas members who don't commit to non-violence.
— No annexation of the West Bank by Israel and no annexation or occupation of parts of Gaza.
— An Israeli commitment not to attack Qatar again in the future.
— A future credible path for "Palestinian statehood" after the Palestinian Authority undergoes significant reforms.
Why do I not believe a single word of this?
