I’ve a site bookmarked somewhere on my computer that does tours like this across the Middle East but are done with archaeologists and historians in some parts, think one in Iran cost about £10k.

The Israel ones looked amazing as well, and I’ve always wanted to go there, but that’s just no longer feasible.
