thing is, it's just to damned easy to use and accessible. even back in 2003 my mindset pretty much became.... "Amazon will have it".
I've always preferred ebay.

I'd be scared to find out what i've spent in 14 years.
Ebay is well dodgy, fraudsters can hijack an account and try and sell non-existent items on them. I know someone who was minutes away from buying a motor home, only to have second thoughts because he thought the deal was too good to be true. Ebay rang a day later telling him the account had be hacked.
