Wonka - 8/10
Leave the World Behind - 6.5/10
Creed 3 - 1/10 Awful movie
Leave the World Behind - 6/10 (the ending )
A Bullet without a Name - (Western 1959)
7/10
So difficult to tell the CGI/VFX from 2015 onwards.
I've nearly finished compiling a book of the greatest ever images from the movies from 1920 onwards, but I've been CGI/VFX/greenscreen from 2000 onwards.
So difficult to find out sometimes though.

I finished selecting my greatest 500 movie images. Been interesting and it's a beautiful set of documents it's made.
I've included a contents giving the name of the film, the year, the country its accredited to, the director, the distributor or production company, and any key actors shown.
The 60s has the most images by a mile, then the 50s, then the 70s, then the 80s followed by the 2010s. Although when I reduce it to a top 100, the 80s disappears and the 2010s comes in 3rd.
The 90s are a wipe out, unlike in my best songs review where the 90s did great.
sorry, the 2010s comes in 4th in the top 100 (not 3rd). the 70s remains not far behind the 50s, with the 60s still out in front.
I’d have thought the 80’s would have cleaned up.

About what its about.
I've been through all the movies* and picked what I think are the 500 best stills/screenshots!
Took about 3 weeks up to about 15 hours a day on it, on the back of a lot of time I've previously spent on films building up my awareness.
*1920-2019
There's actually a few images I would have used from GW Griffith's 20000 Leagues Under the Sea in which he films sharks underwater, but it was 1916 so outside my review period. I'd already done the 2010s and it made no sense to make it 1916-2019 so I left them out.
My earliest is now is 1 from the Phantom Carraige 1921, then 1 from Sherlock Jr 1924 and then a few from The Passion of Joan of Arc (1926) and a few from Pandora's Box 1929. Only 1 of those 4 was American. The next 2 are also European, before Gone with the Wind.
I ll list my top directors out when I get home if you want (actually will have to do it tonight as my laptop's in for repair).

So it wasn’t a challenge set by a website like Empire Magazine or the like. You just did this off the cuff?
Well to ya…
