I don't think 500m is a flop.

But the first movie done over 1B, so the sequel only getting 500m is disappointing and a cause for concern.

Aquaman 2 is doomed from the start as it's the last DCEU movie in a universe that's getting cancelled. They might as well call it Aquaman: The Funeral.

It's a shame as the movie looks entertaining and fun but why would people go to see it if it's part of a doomed universe? Sad.

1) Might just be a fun movie for general audiences
2) Hopefully to see Amber Heard get brutally murdered

2) Kelsey Grammer's Beast

Why would people go and see it?

1. First movie was enjoyable
2. It might actually be good.
3. It's the last Aquaman movie with Mamoa, so why not go and enjoy one last ride.
