Shame for Marvels. I like Brie Larson and the girl from the Marvels so I didn't want them to have to inevitably be the lightning rod for people moaning about Marvel being done now, but sounds like it was rubbish

I'd be interested to see Disney's post-mortem and if they've actually learned the right lessons from it.

Makes you wonder how many more of these colossal flops Disney can take. Indy 5 and The Marvels will have cost Disney about half a billion dollars, maybe more. No company can keep taking losses that big and survive.

Feige has to take accountability. These excuses about him managing too many projects are not valid if these movies are doing this badly.

I think it's time Feige steps down and allows someone new to come in and revamp the next few phases.

You'd like to think that Disney will course correct on these very unpopular movies that the public aren't buying into. But it wouldn't surprise if they just double down on the wokeness and crap movies. Probably promote Kathleen Kennedy to head of Disney at this rate lol.

The fact that Silver Surfer will allegedly be turned into a female character in the new Fantastic Four movies shows that Disney just aren't learning though. Silver Surfer has a massive cult following in the comics so this is such a slap in the face to fans.

Hijacking established and beloved characters and gender swapping them is not the way to go. It shows a complete lack of creativity as they can't be bothered to give us new and original characters. Why not delve into comic book lore and find some really good and original female characters that haven't yet been given the exposure they deserve ? We absolutely want more female comic book characters done properly like Wonder Woman was for the most part. There's clearly a market for that.

But why keep insisting on an unpopular woke approach that the public clearly aren't buying into ? Seems to be intentional destruction by Disney for whatever reason, as if they actively want to fail. Maybe the company is being sabotaged so that the share price continues to fall and Apple can buy them out. Either way Tyrone Magnus sums it up well:

Wouldn't be surprised if they made him female though. Peak Disney that.

Candidly, I've been disappointed by season 2.

Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars now has only a single writer : Michael Waldron (Loki S1 and Dr Strange 2).

Rumours that Thor 5 is in the works with a darker tone and Gareth Edwards is wanted to direct it.
