In the past it has hurt big time when United took Carrick and Berbatov off us, but if they panic splurge £65m on our 3rd best CB then all will be forgiven.

I don’t think he was. And like I said, hardly any Spurs fans were. If you were fair play.
How United fans can't see that they would be better off trying to buy Sanchez, De Ligt, Koulibaly for the money that's being touted is beyond me.

Sanchez is very good but did have some ropey patches. 21, only his second season in Europe and third as a pro footballer, he was outstanding at times. Put it this way, he was vastly superior to Toby over the last 2 seasons

Here is the thing, we are used to our best players getting poached, and we've seen United do it to us in the past. We've lost our very best players like Berbatov, Carrick, Modric, and Bale, and when these guys go you really feel it.
This year we have signed Kane up to a new contract, kept hold of Hugo, Dele, Eriksen and Super Jan. We will be moving into an awesome new stadium, and Poch is staying too. But oh nooo, a post peak, 29 year old with an injury record to rival Holby City will be bringing in £65m. I AM DEVASTATED.
