He’s important every season.

ok, doesn't answer anything I said though.

But insists he is at Spurs for the long haul. He issues a plea to Spurs fans “we need you" as he faces his toughest season yet!

-------

maybe, don, spurtle and a couple of others will take heed. get behind the club instead of criticising every move and acting like spoilt children who didn't get their own way

He's too good for Levy
----------------------------------------------------------------------

he obviously feels very loyal to levy, so clearly doesn't think he is!

your anti levy agenda is becoming as pathetic as don's and you are fast losing any credibility whatsoever as a poster.

They’re behind the team and the manager. They are perfectly entitled to voice their concerns over the non transfer window and Stadium shambles.

yes they are entitled to. but that's not what they are doing. what I am doing is voicing concerns over the stadium mess and the lack of transfers (wanted a CM).... what they are doing is go way overboard and twist absolutely any situation in order to promote their anti levy agenda, meanwhile completely ignoring any good things levy does (eg tie kane to a 6 year contract just before he gets the golden boot in the world cup).

I think the ridiculous Levy haters should look at where the club was 15 years ago and now and then perhaps wind their necks in. Of course we are all entitled to our opinion but the ott reaction by some to our lack of transfers and stadium delay makes me think that they just can't see the bigger picture. Maybe City or Chelsea would be a better fit for such folk?

It’s easy when everything is good to be there, but when winter is coming it’s easy to run....I will stay and fight on the frontline”

Hopefully the fans that were throwing their toys about the other day take notice.

Ahhh the old "look at where we came from" counter argument to any criticism of Levy. Same could have been said to Arsenal fans about Wenger. Levy is not beyond criticism just because of what we did in the past.

Anyway, I've been far less outspoken about the whole Levy situation than I could have been to be honest, apart from a few OT comments that the person who generated the whole "clown shoes" label for Son seems to have a problem with.

I called him clown shoes because one minute he would curl one into the top corner from the edge of the box, and next minute he would fall over his feet trying to trap a simple pass... that cannot be denied.... I said clown shoes once and it stuck with the other posters for some reason... its turned into a term of endearment, and thankfully, someone seems to have permanently confiscated his clown shoes and hes a cracking player.

the difference is also that I want son to do well and am happy when he does, whereas you refuse to credit levy for anything whatsoever and will always negatively spin any situation to suit his agenda.

hes definitely not beyond criticism, but the criticism should be measured and relevant, whereas you, and particularly don just turn any situation into being levy's fault.

You think all the uncertainty and anxiety is good for the club/team?

I don’t.

Not true. I've given Levy credit before and actually want him to do well for the good of the club. It's just pointless to keep bringing up the good work he did in establishing us into a top 6/4 team, when we've been that for a while now. We're looking to make the next step into actually winning some things, which I think he's falling behind on in helping us to do that.

I don't want for this to be the best team that never won anything.

Exactly Spurtle. Pochettino's quotes today just confirms to me how lucky we are to have him. Best manager we have had in donkeys years and loyal to. Levy is bloody lucky he has someone that isn't going to kick off at not being given the proper tools to win the league.

Yes that's all well and good. How about doing more to address our squad in the transfer window which looks like it could be potentially weaker than how it was before the window?
