I think the ridiculous Levy haters should look at where the club was 15 years ago and now and then perhaps wind their necks in. Of course we are all entitled to our opinion but the ott reaction by some to our lack of transfers and stadium delay makes me think that they just can't see the bigger picture. Maybe City or Chelsea would be a better fit for such folk?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ahhh the old "look at where we came from" counter argument to any criticism of Levy. Same could have been said to Arsenal fans about Wenger. Levy is not beyond criticism just because of what we did in the past.
Anyway, I've been far less outspoken about the whole Levy situation than I could have been to be honest, apart from a few OT comments that the person who generated the whole "clown shoes" label for Son seems to have a problem with.

Fans will choose to believe anything they want to suit their argument I go by facts and that's Levy come out with an official statement explaining our transfers wouldn't be affected this summer by the stadium plans. People actually believe Poch was told we wouldn't be signing players before his contract how naive

I find it funny that people think Levy tricked Poch as if he is some little kid, and not a football manager who is more intelligent than you.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal had come third the season before Wenger
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm talking about the Arsenal fans who wanted him gone, justifiably after a period of underachievement for 10 years. Makes no difference to them that won some stuff before that period.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not a fair comparison though. Wenger came into a top 4 side, made them win stuff for just under a decade. Was ok for half a decade, then was useless for half a decade.
We have been getting better and better under Levy.

It's the general idea of giving someone credit for something a while back, like when people remind you of where we were before Levy took over which is what PaulBawron was doing.

Are you seriously trying to tell me Levy told Poch there would be no new players and no guarantee where we would be playing are home games BEFORE he signe his new contract??
Do me a favour!
Stop defending this utter utter farce.

Fans will choose to believe anything they want to suit their argument I go by facts and that's Levy come out with an official statement explaining our transfers wouldn't be affected this summer by the stadium plans. People actually believe Poch was told we wouldn't be signing players before his contract how naive

I have to laugh at the fact that you of all people are branding others as naïve and say that they manipulating an scenario to suit an agenda.

I think it’s cute that you think Daniel Levy managed to pull the wool over Pochs eyes.
How naive

like what?
new training ground, new stadium, outstanding commercial deals, and tieing key personnel down to long term deals, and thus protecting the future interest of the club isn't doing good things is it?
he didn't buy anyone so he should be locked up

I wouldn't describe this whole last summer as doing good stuff, hence why many of us aren't happy with him now, so my point about bringing up the past like it's relevant still applies.

I mean, he's literally only had a bad couple of months & in that time tied up Kane, Son, Vertonghen (potentially Dele/Eriksen) to new contracts.

Chronic , you have criticised the club for the transfer situation and also the stadium. You said yourself the stadium was a farce. Now you are complaining about people not being happy with it just explain this to me mate. Why is it always ok for you to have a pop and moan at Spurs? But anyone else doing it, you Jump on their backs. You p** and moan about Spurs all the time.

Well done for tying players down. It doesn't make up for the rest of this summer. And we still might lose a valuable squad member or 2 yet. Knowing us this could be a serious possibility.
