Front three need to take a long look at themselves.. Too much huff and puff and not enough focus to put the balll in the net.

It can't be that half a dozen players just ignored his instructions

Losing away to.Napoli is no great shock and it was always going to be a tough group. Nothing to say we won't be top of the group by the end of the next set of games.

Theres also no way you can excuse that performance by saying that Napoli are a great team, because they arent.
Even if we had managed to play to 50% of what we are capable of, we would have won comfotably.
Liverpool were horific.

The passing was so slack. TAA was making so many silly mistakes in passing. Even Van dyke was not that great. I Think we may have underestimated them

Also, we are in a bit of a rut. Have not won in 3 now with 2 losses. Need a big big result going into the international break against City.

Yeah I think so too, and annoyingly the one time we looked a threat was around the 80th minute when Firmino and Gini both won the ball back near their box from pressing.

Gomez n Alisson and Mane played well enough, the rest we below average.

Gomez had a good game, but made simple errors, he was Lucky the Martens ball hit the crossbar and he should have done better with the goal. Only vvd and Allison were at their usual high level.

Big disappointment on the performance but the improvement in defence has masked what’s lacking up front. Salah perhaps needs to be dropped for Shaqiri in the next game.

Shiite performance that. Not really a surprise as we haven’t looked great since after the West Ham game. Whether Klopp is trying to implement new tactics or whether it’s a bit of handover from the WC I don’t know. The front 3 need to get their act together.

Yeah they didn't worry me much tonight, "should" beat them at Anfield so long as we don't play like that again.

Thst was salah worst game. But Firmino was just as poor today

After his good start Mane has now gone 6 games without scoring. He's lazy and selfish. But our main problem is midfield. Henderson offers nothing. No defensive cover and virtually zero going forward. Was poor again tonight. Milner had a poor game as well. We looked very slow and always late to the ball..

Napoli were better on the night. We had some dificult fixtures. You can 't play every game well. Even City lost their CL game at home.

Nah, sorry, theres a lot more to be said about that performance beyond, oh well, it was going to be tough, and these things happen.
Maybe when 1 or 2 or even 3 players play badly, you can explain it away.
When its 7 or 8 playing so bably below par, it raises far more questions for me.
