At no point did we look like we’d have a chance against them, even Rooneys goal was a tiny blip in one way traffic, against city we did at times look like we could come back. That’s the difference.
I've never seen any team in Premier League history dominate the league the way City are currently. Teams already know before they play that they can't beat them. They've already lost before the game has started in their minds. No other team in Premier League history has had that, not even the great Man Utd teams under Sir Alex.
They maybe an excellent side Robb however tactically our set up was diabolical
Our starting midfield was diabolical
Our passion and tenacity was diabolical
We know city are going to pass it around and press our players. Launching balls to rashford is never going to work. We needed players to keep hold of the ball up top. Sanchez would have been ideal for that plus he presses the defence
There was no transition between defence and attack in that midfield. It was obvious from the get go how we would play, we just let them come on to us. That 44 pass move for the 3rd was atrocious. Not one single fecking challenge put in. Not one
Then there was our players admiring sterling taking the pi55 at the end. Why didn't one player go in and rattle him? They just literally stood there then mata whinges at him. It was a truly atrocious display with no passion, desire, intensity, will to win. Nothing
If City get another 100 points this season I think they would go down as the best PL side in history.

They are a very very good side. My article the other day will be about how they’ll be remembered - and Imo they’ll have to win the CL to dispel any debates. I think they’ll win the CL this season anyway.

I've said ti a million times before, I'll say it again... with Jose's football, it's a great feeling when you win, but when you lose, you feel dirty because it's just not pretty to watch. It's nothing to do with losing to City, it's everything to do with how us and how we played, never mind what city did.

Possibly...I’d expect the great peps Barca to beat them, I’m not sure how that 99 team would have fared, play different to what they largely faced.
