He’s a great player but he’s not what he was and whilst he’s got 5 assists, he’s played the full 90 mins in eight games and failed to score.

Like I said. When he's through one on one and chooses to square it for a tap in for someone else, I don't really think anyone can use that as some kind of negative.

I think KLS hasnt watched Suarez and probably used last seasons performances and this seasons stats to judge him. He will admit it soon enough.
I wrote of Suarez last season as he was diabolical especially performance wise but he has been unplayable at times this season.
Regarding the game its 50/50 in my opinion. When the draw was made I was certain Liverpool would meet City in the final but now after a few weeks the season has set up nicely for Barca and Messi tends to want to perform against the English teams judging by his all out performance at Wembley.
You would imagine Suarez and Coutinho will be eager to.These are the moments foreign players live for as the Champions league means everything for them. so dont be starting the likes of Milner or Hendo aswell.

Barca are a fantastic side and it’s going to be a massive ask but some people are unwilling to admit just how good Liverpool can be. Barca’s big weakness is pace and that’s what we are fantastic at doing, nobody gave us much chance v City last season and it looks like those people aren’t giving us much chance again.

Haven't seen anyone right off our chances. Most seems to be saying it's a tight tie - I wouldn't argue with that.
I'm just fearful because in tight games it's often the special players that make the difference and they don't come any more special than Messi.

defended quite deep early on (but well)..knowing liverpool start v fast and intense
waited for the inevitable drop off around the hour mark
brought on bale to exploit the spaces
and battered you for the last half hour
pattern of that match was v predictable really
yous needed to be 2 up at the hour mark to have had a chance
and it was 1-1 at that point

I think we'll beat Barca. I fancy us to win it this season after the disappointment last year. We're a better team, for me.

We're a more rounded team. I don't think we're better though. Messi and Suarez put them on another level.

What I mean is as a team we're better. However they have players who can change a whole game on their own, even if it's not going well, like Suarez and Messi. Over two legs, I believe the better team wins, they have to fight together and we have that in abundance.
