Arsenal will get Tel. Now Duran is confirmed to Saudi, Villa won’t sell Watkins and it’s basically an open goal for Arsenal getting Tel because they’ll have the money AND they can guarantee game time whilst also by far and away being the best option for him. He won’t be coming to us. We’re 15th for Christ sake.

To be fair I don’t know too much about him. I’ve only ever seen him come on for Kane and he didn’t seem all that good to me. I’d rather focus on Dibling.

Why we so desperate for a striker? LCB more important surely

Lots of strikers out there…. Sure one of the commentators said last night Jonathan David was out of contact in the summer. Surely a bid now would secure immediately. We were linked with him a few time before the predicament we are in now.

But yeah reality kicks in as levy will nowse every thing up as usual.

None of my business but I am kinda surprised that Spurs haven't brought an outfield player in yet? Still time though but I wish clubs (all of them) would let fans know a wee bit more about what's going on

I think the fear is with BJ Dom Odobert Werner and may be even Richy, again! all missing from the next few weeks, + Maddison, we could have almost zero attacking options going into massive cups games.

But I do agree with you. LCb has been crying out all season so thats one, like Kinksy, we should have teed up, oven ready, much earlier than this.

Just now though a load of new attack injuries seem to have made this a bigger priority, especially if we want to salvage something more than survival from this season.

Yeh if Solanke was fit you could maybe do with a decent back up striker but the forward positions are stretched atm, next couple of days should be an interesting watch transfer wise for a fair few clubs including Spurs

I dont know much about this guy. His stats look good but surely if he were that good, someone would have been interested. Utd and Arsenal have been desperate for a finisher but no one seems to want to touch him.

I get the feeling that if we get some big deals done, we are effectively doing our summer transfer business now.

Linked players like Dibbling and Tel would be loan to buy deals and both would be a good £50m to make permanent. If we are also looking at Gomes then he's a small fee as he's free in the summer

Come the summer we have Vuskovic (LCB) incoming and he may well become 4th choice (which is why maybe we are making do with Davies & Gray). We have an option on Cardoso, a CDM.

I think we have a strategy but the injuries have meant we have had to try and bring forward some of these deals to now.

I would also comment though that if we can try now, it works for us because clubs like Chelsea and United are massively hampered by PSR so cannot act decisively.

We'll probably end up with no one though

Yeah there is that I guess but he’s going to be cheap which suits us. As u say his stats are good and we don’t have anyone better who fill in already given the reluctance to play the youth.

I don’t think even Levy would risk not doing a deal this window, even if it’s just a loan. I think we will see at least 1 outfield player in and possibly 2
