Was a stupid idea anyway, we need a RW most, not a LW/Striker

We will go all out for Dibling now I reckon.

Just hope we don’t overpay on an average striker as well.

Gonna be a tough week - brace yourselves

If we don't get Dibling and at least one decent defender, then the Levy Out protests will be feckin deafening.

We can't be all that surprised. We're 15th. We missed out because we've been utterly dogshiiiiit. We're shopping in Lidl now guys, just where Levy likes it.

Dead club.

I’m expecting a horrible week to be honest - I think it will be 1 or 2 underwhelming signings followed by 3 straight defeats. Then folks on here telling me that Ange can still win the Europa.

I think if we follow all that up and get beat by United in the following league game at home - the ground will be faaacking toxic.

If Ange remains after that then I might just hibernate until the summer when common sense prevails.

I hope I am wrong but I said early that Tel won’t happen and I’m dreading this week

posted on 31/1/25

Honestly, what must Ange be thinking? We have one fit defender but even he can't be risked playing every three days. We have three days to sort this shower of shiiiit out.

I'm not shocked he's rejected us. I'm shocked we've wasted so much time on it and sboth Levy and Lange to tie up a deal the player never really wanted. That energy could have been pent on the south coast sorting out a deal for someone who I think has a much higher ceiling than Tel.

I don't think the fans will stand for that now. We've all taken issue with Ange recently but the negligence regarding recruitment is firmly on Levy and any loss over the 10 days will be firmly laid at levy's door, not Ange. if he sacks Ange now, there'll be a mutiny. He has absolutely nowhere to turn.

I can't quite believe just how hard he's fecked this club. It's an assault.

Keeping Ange is tantamount to further negligence though.

I wish both of them would faaack off - new money bags owner with Iraola at the wheel.

Mark my words - a massive stinky dump of a week coming up

Nah, I don't buy it. The players are playing for him. There's no point in getting him out now. Let him have the rest of the season.

I'd rather focus all my energy on making Levy's life a living hell. If we get rid of Ange, Levy wins and i don't want to give him the satisfaction. He's A problem. He's not THE problem.

Loads are taking the 3 cups copium at the moment - as soon as that wears off it will be curtains for ge

Strike,

Yes but if we go out of both cups during an injury crisis with no support from recruitment, who's really to blame? I'd say that falls on Levy more than Ange. He's had enough time to sort this shiiiit out.

You heard Kulu. The manager isn't necessarily the problem. Without actually saying it, he made it clear who's really to blame. Whether Ange's style is suitable for the league with its intensity and tactical advancements is another argument but I'd say if we got rid of him now, it's ust allowing Levy to make the same excuses, doing the same old thing. That'll be the 17th manager of his tenure, in just 24 years. That's just not on. Something has got to give and at some point we're just going to have to back the manager and turn on the owner for once. He might not be the right manager but I am so sick and tired of this hire and fire culture. It's getting us absolutely nowhere and all it is is just a way out for Levy, time and time and time again.

I'm so sick of that cvnt. I can't tell you what I'd do to him if I were face to face.

I've watched him a lot this season. Frankly I'm not interested in shiiiit loan moves just to patch up the next few weeks. I'm interested in what he can give us for years to come.

If we miss out, remember his name because he'll be a 100m player before you know it. We don't have many ball carriers like him. He's very similar to Grealish but he scores more. I'd put the 50m we had for Tel straight down in front of Southampton now.

Yeah Levy is the biggest problem

But Ange is still a problem - he is the worst coach in the division. I reckon Mick Mc Carthy could do a better job

Yes he looks good from what little Ive seen of him!

The point I’m making is I thought we are complaining at Levy for not buying/loaning players to help us this season. But Dibling is nothing to do with helping us this season.

If we go out and buy Dibling it shows me that we have no desire to help this season and instead trusting too much on kids

We’ve got 3 days until the market closes and have missed out on our top 2 targets - we’re in the desperate stage and we will spunk money on average or unsuitable players at this point. Dibling to be fair would at least be useful longer term.

Can’t believe we might spunk a load on Tomori - clubs cooked

posted on 31/1/25

Why wouldn’t Dibling help this season?

He has been the best player on the pitch when I’ve seen Southampton play

He is ready for the prem now ….yeah he would be on the bench but he helps

Like others have said we will regret not getting him ….he has it

Tbf i don’t know how serious his injury is - when is he due back?

The point is more that its more pressure for yet another young kid. We need more experience in the team and someone ready to make an impact as soon as they sign. Not another bergvall/gray who, while have done fantastic, should be relied on as much as they have been and we can’t expect them to drive us to a trophy.

Tomori would be a great signing in my opinion, but why would he leave milan for us, especially as ex-chelsea. Whats wrong with him?

Dibling, injury permitting, is straight in the side. I get that he’s injured for a couple of weeks but for me he’s not some academy prospect. He’s by far and away Southampton’s best player.

By the way Tomori is now stalling and wants more time to consider the move 😂😂😂😂 we’ve seen this movie before.
