There was kickback against stop and search for it was deemed to be racist - even though black youths were disproportionately involved in knife crimes.
So it was curtailed and what happened? More black youths were killed.
Until we start being honest enough to look at the objective data then London will continue to collapse and the virtue signalling, which I’m sure will garner recognition in the Guardian - but will also result in more deaths.
London really is a cesspit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The police has recently started to ramp up stop and search again.
And there are plain clothes officers in many hot spots across the city.
Unfortunately, the damage has already been done due to decades of left wing policies which criminalises parents if they discipline their children.
I known families whose kids went to school hungry. And came back hungry
You are feckin deluded if you think it doesnt happen.
There was a stabbing in Shepherd’s Bush last week, and it was committed by a gang of white people. To hold black people entirely responsible for most of these stabbings is wrong. This isn’t a race issue, it’s a GANG issue.

Every unemployed citizen of this country is guaranteed a basic income.
Why have we got the highest figure for poverty in Europe then? Why are 1.5m of our citizens living in destitute conditions? The disregard for human beings you right wing priiicks have is something else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ever been to places like Romania and other Eastern European countries? There, you will see real poverty.
If you earn below a certain amount in this country, you get tax credit to help shore up your income.
Increase in people using food banks for example is nothing to do with extreme poverty for most. Rather, it's mainly to do with people using that as an additional means so they can have money for other stuff.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you’re comparing poverty now? How low can you go? I’m seeing people pitched up in tents and sleeping bags outside shops more and more, and it’s spread to central London as well.
There’s 4 million children living in poverty, open your eyes and see the bigger picture. It’s classic right wing whataboutery from the likes of you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Define the poverty these 4 million children are suffering?
Not denying your statement, just interested.

———-
They used to be till the government hatched a plan to put an end to that
Universal credit, where the most vulnerable in society, some who can’t even read or write get sanctioned and have their funds stopped for the most basic of clerical errors
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry but thats not correct.
Universal credit does not stop child benefits, council houses, motavation, weekly unemplyment income etc.
Why do some people like to peddle false narrative?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you know what it replaces?
Income support
JSA
Housing benefit
Child tax credit
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It seeks to consolidate but not STOP certain benefits.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And if you get sanctioned, those consolidated payments get stopped
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes but these are isolated cases. Its not the reason kids go to school hungry though.
