basing your success at the club, as being scoring a few goals in finals, doesnt really cut it for madrid fans tbh

So when and why did they extend his contract

What do you think about Zidane's role here.

Should he be publicly outing him now he's near the door, in order to curry favour with the fans?

posted on 21/7/19

Maybe Zidane is jealous of Bales record compared to his own

I’d take Bale on loan for one season. Still a cracking player and could be the difference against the smaller clubs where we struggle to break them down. Especially considering our right wing options at the moment are Lingard and Mata. Bale would be a huge improvement on that for a season
How about Maguire, Fernandes and Bale on loan. That potentially could be a good window

We have our own bale situation with sanchez

Bale, Sanchez and Lukaku up front

Fck me that would be so bad it'd probably work

posted on 21/7/19

Some Italian side will probably ask for him on loan with Madrid paying his full wage and a commitment to buy his for £5m in 3 yrs

posted on 21/7/19

I’d take him on loan, but nothing else.

If Ed spent £100m plus on Bale then he has to be sacked.

If Madrid thought Bale would be the main man when Ronaldo left then they didn’t do their homework. Bale just doesn’t have that personality. It’s different for Wales because the expectation isn’t there, but Madrid needs a huge ego which Bale isnt.

However, Bale was brilliant as a foil for Ronaldo and scored crucial goals, especially in CL finals when Ronaldo could only score from the penalty spot.

i wouldn't say he's been treated badly

with the transfer fee and wages come responsibilities at madrid

responsibilities that bale is not up to

at the start of last season, with ronaldo gone, bale had his chance to step up and become the main forward player at the club

he wasn't up to it. played terrible and took no leadership role on the pitch or in the dressing room

bale has been a good player for madrid coming off the bench in the 2nd half, exploiting the space left by tiring defenders with his pace

his effectiveness when starting matches, has always been limited for madrid

he lacks a bit of technical quality when he doesnt have space in front of him to run into...miss places alot of passes too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bale has been hands down, hands up and hands down again better for you than Sanchez has been for us. Comfortably and consistently.

Yet you won’t find our fans booing Sanchez every time he pops his head up.

United must be just as desperate to get rid of Sanchez as Madrid are Bale. We’ve got a completely worthless player on our hands on the highest wages at the club.

Yet you won’t find our manager slagging him off, or saying the club are working on getting rid of him and the sooner the better.

That’s the difference between the clubs. Ours understands the meaning of the term ‘respect’. Yours is utterly shameless, utterly unprofessional and a disgrace to football.

100 million would be Ed’s opening bid but wouldn’t do business for anything under 200
I jest before anyone gets their silkys in a knot

So true.

Ed in a negotiation is just someone who shouts numbers are every couple of seconds.

Offered Di Stefano on loan.

Might've been lip-service, like.

Can't imagine Barca ever offering Messi.

I would be wary of taking bale on loan no matter what the price. I like the lad and if motivated he would likely bring something to the table but it doesn't feel like it fits with what ole is trying to build. It smacks of another Ibra or Sanchez

Theres also another part of me that says fack you

Something I am sure he is gutted about given how the last 5/6 seasons have gone.
