They blocked roads last week. I cycled right into the tree hugging, smelly feckers. What is more annoying was that they all drove to holloway road in their cars to protest about people driving in London. Absolute morons.
The police had a go at me and said they were allowed to do that as it was a peaceful protest. I asked the police if I stood in the road blocking traffic what would happen and their response was that I would get arrested. Where is the logic.
I saw the protester get dragged off the roof of the tube this morning and got a kicking. I think we should all rise up against these morons and give them all a good kicking.
They are targeting people's living and also stopping emergency vehicles. Holloway road is the main road leading to one of london's largest hospitals. The protesters said that they would let the emergency vehicles through,. What thy don't realise is that the road block goes back miles and the emergency vehicles are trapped before they get to the protest itself. They should be charged with attempted murder for this sort of thing,
God help any protester who gets in my way today. I will take physical action on their dirty, smelly, magic mushroomed faces.

I haven't got an issue in the slightest with peaceful protest as long as it does not disrupt in particular emergency services and the police, but also commuters.

Kicked a duck in the face this morning in counter protest. If they are going to pisss us off like that then we are just going to fight back by increasing climate change. They are being counter productive. Spat my chewing gum out on the pavement instead of using the little bin things. Everyone needs to join in and fight back so they know they cannot win like this. Just went into a bin and took out a crisp packet and placed it on to the ground. Join me in a peaceful counter protest.

You can argue the merits of the protests all you like but to say that this is just 'hippies' is incredibly naive.
Sure there are always people who love anarchy and are along for the ride but this protest for the most part is made up of normal people - doctors, teachers. kids, nurses, olds, parents etc. They have been moved to join because of the threat to the planet and the inaction of the Government, most of them are terrified to be arrested but go anyway.
To dismiss these people along with the rest is just ignorant - educate yourself ffs.
Extinction Rebellion are doing nothing other than making me care less about climate change.
Informed, peaceful protest and education is needed. Not civil unrest targeting public transport which we are all told we need to use to help with the problem.
Let's not forget that these protesters are PAID to do this, and considering the amount of rubbish left behind on the streets, do they care actually care about the environment or are they just in it for the social disruption.
Certainly seems like the latter to me. Especially when it disrupts people like me who are averagely paid office workers just trying to make a modest living.

While Canning Town is an upmarket Wavertree, it is still a craphole and commuters on what is a pretty clean travel technology do not deserve to be hindered by anyone

You can argue the merits of the protests all you like but to say that this is just 'hippies' is incredibly naive.
Sure there are always people who love anarchy and are along for the ride but this protest for the most part is made up of normal people - doctors, teachers. kids, nurses, olds, parents etc. They have been moved to join because of the threat to the planet and the inaction of the Government, most of them are terrified to be arrested but go anyway.
To dismiss these people along with the rest is just ignorant - educate yourself ffs.

How about you educate yourself. They are causing a huge uproar and causing issues to commuters journeys. They are causing obstructions to our emergency Services. Why the hell would I want to educate myself into supporting these clowns ? I have my own views and agree with protecting the planet, but I would never condone disrupting London to get my point across, it’s ridiculous just like the zombie like hippies gluing themselves to the floor.

I quite like the idea of someone sitting at home watching the news and thinking “I am all for saving the planet, but this has gone too far” then chucking a glass bottle in the bin instead of recycling it.
Or someone getting caught up in traffic due to the protest and then revving up their car whilst stationary to increase the pollution and shouting “Take that you hippies!”

They blocked roads last week. I cycled right into the tree hugging, smelly feckers. What is more annoying was that they all drove to holloway road in their cars to protest about people driving in London. Absolute morons.
The police had a go at me and said they were allowed to do that as it was a peaceful protest. I asked the police if I stood in the road blocking traffic what would happen and their response was that I would get arrested. Where is the logic.
I saw the protester get dragged off the roof of the tube this morning and got a kicking. I think we should all rise up against these morons and give them all a good kicking.
They are targeting people's living and also stopping emergency vehicles. Holloway road is the main road leading to one of london's largest hospitals. The protesters said that they would let the emergency vehicles through,. What thy don't realise is that the road block goes back miles and the emergency vehicles are trapped before they get to the protest itself. They should be charged with attempted murder for this sort of thing,
God help any protester who gets in my way today. I will take physical action on their dirty, smelly, magic mushroomed faces.
