Did'nt have a choice, you cannot let banks crash.
The country would fall into complete anarchy.

But in the current conversation and metrics being used we are discussing how the uk holds up to other countries, thats all we have as a measuring stick. We could potentially look after the vulnerable better than the rest of the world (hypothetically) and you could still say the same thing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Look after them?
Government policy is to kill them.
Cheaper.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It isnt the goverments job to look after people, its their job to run a country.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s also not their job to persecute the most vunerable in society, but they do it anyway.
They dont persecute anyone.

The first duty of any government is to look after the safety of it's citizens, And who do you think is responsible for NHS and care provision ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its not their job however to sort every "vulnerable" persons chit out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well it kind of f*cking is, isn’t it.

Oh shut up Troll.
Have it your way but don’t complain the next time a mentally Ill person goes bonkers and stabs a load of people in the street like that kid in Peckham the other day.
Can’t have it both ways.
Probably would have had overcrowded prisons due to rising crime rate too

I bet you think spending billions of tax payers money on the black hole that is HS2 was the right thing to do while they were making those “tough choices” don’t you?
How the f*ck do you know what phone or TV packages they have? Do you follow them around and peek through their windows to see what channels they are watching?
