Does anyone actually have stats to show the distance run/ground covered on average for the likes of Scholes/Keane compared to say Fred/Matic for us in a standard league game?

I'm too lazy to get into the lengthy t*t for tat 'debates' that span 20 pages or so.

Although the 2040 me would probably have too much for the current Winston, even he wouldn't be able to respond enough over a sustained period.

OP I agree with your team there, must be so difficult leaving Beckham out though, I remember how good he was for Man United in that 1998/1999 season especially what he was going through with how badly England fans were treating him.

I don’t think that this incarnation of the league is a *particularly* weak one. There’s decent quality amongst the mid table sides.

But there’s only one really decent side. Nobody else apart from arguably City is putting in really solid performances with any kind of consistency whatsoever. That’s why the likes of Leicester, Wolves and Sheff United are where they are.

It’s a competitive league after Liverpool, which relative strength aside, makes it interesting.

I guess you could say that *relatively-speaking*, the teams in positions 2 to 5 are particularly weak (i.e. you’d expect the teams in those positions at this stage of the season, whoever they were, to have performed *much better* so far), and the teams in positions 6 to 11 are unusually strong.

Effectively, there’s a strong mid table scrap between the teams in second and eleventh.

The fact you've included his name leads me to question the validity of your claims. I won't expect you to trawl through posts, of course not, but I still don't believe what you've said is true.

Cinci I'll agree with and wouldn't be susprised with morespurs either, but we have to accept that some people are wumming. I have only seen a handful of people do that though.
