I haven't read what Rosso said particularly but seeing as he knows his football I don't need to. I am sure he has been fair and not simply made things up.

You? not so much,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rosso has stated my point, eloquently minus the new manager part. But it won’t fit your idiotic view on how you are the greatest team ever...or whatever nonsense you’ve come up with this week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Go and find and example Baz. I get it, you're hurting because you've been shown up to be talking absolute shiiiiiit again.

No rosso hasn't included the manager bit has he and I'm not surprised because it's fvcking nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Answer my question.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There is literally not a question there. Look youre all over the place again and Ive got to get back to work. Ive made my point about new managers and that's about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not sure why you are so hell bent on trying to prove you are the best team ever or whatever it is that blinds you from reason. Liverpool are a very very good side, they’ve done great things this season, but let’s not pretend it’s been the strongest ever competition wise, not where main rivals are concerned. The new management thing is very relevant, it’s obviously a factor in how teams play, playing staff and tactics. Things that usually (not always) take time to get right.

I bet if Liverpool were one point behind City, it wouldn't have even been mentioned.

Since last summer:

Liverpool spent nothing up until £7m purchase of Mini. Stood still even as it was claimed.

City splashed almost £150m on new players
United splashed £200m
Spurs £130m (guess)
Arsenal £120m (guess)

So we spent next to nothing and still destroyed the rest of the league

posted on 20/2/20

I think Spurs are on about £175m or something daft and their results have improved.

kash- you didn’t need to the 170m or so the season before you spent to get vvd and Allison was the icing on the cake, klopp (who’s a brilliant coach) already had the players he needed in the side, could argue buying someone might possibly have been counterproductive.

Pretty sure Reuters published research to show that a new manager bounce is a myth, and even then, it's very short term.

Longer term it requires on the right appointment, of course.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think I remember this. They had some "expert" putting it all down to luck, not the manager

I don't need stats. You just needs examples of managers coming in and winning things immediately. Chelsea provide at least three examples. Zidane is another. Pep another. and I could go on.

It's just bollox but thankfully Baz is the only one pushing this and that's for good reason.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You need stats of you want to prove there’s a trend.

We wouldn't know until after it happened. Are you saying Liverpool could not have improved anything? Any team can be improved.

You're crazy.

Could have improved you, might not, we’ll never know. You could probably use Kieta as an example, but I’d imagine klopp looked at his side and figured there was no real need to buy anyone as the players he had were ideal for his system.

posted on 20/2/20

We didnt buy anyone because of FFP. It's well documented.

For every Zidane, there’s a moyes, a silva, Emery wasn’t exactly brilliant either. Or you could simply just look at the new managers this season, or klopp who obviously won everything going in his first not 4 th season....

Scholes, neville, redknapp at saints, Henry, Jewell at derby, McCarthy at Sunderland, Frank de boer etc etc...

How about you explain why it’s so important to you to argue this myth that the league is at its strongest ever and new managers can snap their fingers and make teams play their best, like klopp apparently did in his first year?

posted on 20/2/20

What? Honestly baz youre all over the place.

Stop making things up and this will all be easier.

Fact is YOU'RE the one suggesting that having new managers backs up your view the league is weaker and it's fvcking nonsense which is why no-one else is saying it. It's that simple.

If his point was that Chelsea arsenal united and Tottenham are in transition with new(ish) managers, then that’s a pretty fair point to make
