I didn't like his comment about how people need to shut up about transfers. It was an irrelevant point and just trying to protect himself from the fans anger when he lets us down in the transfer market again.
I think he's starting to realise the fans are turning on him. He's the most responsible for allowing a team of genuine title contenders to become so poor in the space of a few years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
tbh its mostly been the players and their love of consistently making individual errors. what can Levy do if Lloris decides he wants to chuck one in? not much really.
I think it's fair to say, we're all missing Spurs one way or another this term

Do you get your season ticket subsidised by him by any chance?

Levy, like all chairman has had his successes and failures in the transfer market. So not sure why you think all our transfer dealings have not been that good. There have been some excellent signings under Daniel Levy. Dembele, Toby, Verts, Eriksen, Son, Dele, Bale, Modric etc etc.
It is not really his fault that has a collective the players have not been able to deliver. That would be more down to the Manager and the actual players themselves.

To be fair that will happen in any big company, staff lose their job, but the Chairman of the said company never does. It is what it is.
I view Levy similarly to what Wenger did for Arsenal. Overall, a phenomenal job, and a key reason (along with Poch, and a lesser extent Jol and Redknapp) for transforming our club from midtable nobodies to a massive club in Europe.
However, the last couple of years have shown he's lost his way and I don't see us getting back to competing for titles/CL under him. The stadium project is a great place for him to go out, but from a footballing perspective not backing poch then sacking him for Jose tells me he doesn't have a clue.

Have to say I've never wanted Spurs to miss out on CL football more (and the money that follows) - and it's not even anything to do with club rivalry this time.
Roman is no Saint but giving NHS staff free accommodation and his London hotel was a class act. More than just writing a cheque he really thought about what would help local hospital staff out
OP, normally I'd laugh, call you a tart, or something, and slag Spurs off. But just lately you sound like you're going through the wringer a bit. Hope not, and everything is okay with you.
Agree, Levy seems a right though. And that why I love the guy.

For him/enic to go anywhere someone needs to come up with £1.5b.
