I don't blame Dundee. They've acted in their own self interests. They've probably created a great deal of ill-will in the game, but that's their problem.
It's the SPFL who are the kants in this. They should have counted their fecking vote regardless of the follow up email. They've manipulated the situation to get the vote they wanted. It's shameful and that kant Doncaster is the biggest impostor I've ever seen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why don't you blame Dundee?
They've essentially lied to fellow club chairmen over their intentions and allowed them in turn to share what would normally have been private and privileged information. And all because of self serving interests with a blatant attempt to utilise some kind of leverage for selfish gain. That is scandalous.
How can the SPFL count a "vote" when they have a legal correspondence instructing them to ignore any ballot paper they might later receive? It's called an error. It happens all the time in businesses.
They can't just ignore Dundee's instruction.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't blame Dundee because if any other club was in the same situation they'd probably do the same thing. I think it's dreadful behaviour but at the same time they're trying to do what they think is best for their club. They'll reap what they sow imo but it is what it is.
If they submitted a vote it should count. In what other situation such as this, where you're casting a vote, can you withdraw it after it's been officially cast?

I still love the fact that a lot of Rangers fans think this is Lawwell who has made Dundee change their mind
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Twitter was amazing last night and this morning.
This lockdown must have people trying out their own homebrews.
The TRUTHS spewed, with a mix of "twitter facts" and a hint of acid glazed fantasy where worthy of a nebula award.
Trump could get a ready made new press secretary applicant from the legions.
Any other yes voters getting a glamour friendly with a big hitter?...Naw!
Stinking!
My favourite twitter thing from all this is a mocked up picture replicating the famous pic from when we won the league with Jim McLean on the players shoulders, but his face now having Nelms from Dundee and the players changed to current United players.
What's this about a glamour friendly?
"we will not be bullied"
threaten with "evidence" which will now need to be released.
then start boycotting.
we have won ten out of the last ten trophies and are 13 points clear, can anyone honestly say they think we will drop 11 points in the last 24 and that rangers will win their last 9 games in a row?
honestly?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
What?
They deceived fellow football men. Blatantly deceived them and lulled them into an action they later pulled out from.
As for a vote. It isn't a vote until it has been legally cast. If (as is stated) they sent correspondence to essentially instruct a body to ignore anything that cam in after that notification as they wanted to exercise their right to the 28 days then that is perfectly legitimate and acceptable.
We along with any other plc have to have votes for AGM's on a number of things like re election of officers, accounts etc etc. If a vote isn't received (who here sends in their vote of they are a Building Society member for example?) then it is declared void or in other words it doesn't count at all.
If we ever received a note (prior to the receipt of the voting slip) instructing us to ignore it, that's exactly what we would have to do.
And it wasn't OFFICIALLY cast.
Once Lawwells done with this mob and got the league sorted do you think he could also sort out the Scottish cup?
I mean we were on course for a world record quad treble! Surely they should be pushing to get that over the line also and we were the clear favorites.

They completed the slip and sent it to the SPFL, who DID receive it - it's just that it went into their quarantine. That means they STILL received it and it was officially lodged, as per the date stamp on the email.
As for the fact they lied to other football men (sexist by the way ), meh. They didn't really lie, they did do what they said they would do. They just backtracked when an opportunity presented itself, and I'm sure the ICT chairman would have done the same.
ICT chairman is a rangers fan so if ever there was another reason for me to like that rancind wee schitehole of a club that's it.

No Ivan. It wasn't.
The communication first received was the notification to ignore any voting slip that might come in later. That then made it unofficial.
In business speak it's called "the battle of the forms".
You don't need to take my word for it if you don't want but why wouldn't the SPFL or indeed anyone just quite simply say "sorry, your vote must count"?
And if as some think they've just been allowed to change their mind then why don't more do exactly just that?
It's a technicality and they were fortunate that they got their disclaimer in first but essentially that's just tough.
