Getting carried away negatively or positively after 3 games are stupid. I agree it was poor though.

You didn't watch the Man City game then?

Are you telling me City didn't threaten Leicesters goal today?

Man City fans are not happy about it

posted on 27/9/20

Cinci, you're never happy, it seems. Best to get these games out of the way now. Nuno is trying to play a more aggressive role. A role you we're advocating for and now he is, you're still moaning.

OK it wasn't a good performance for whatever reasons, but 3 games in..come on, give it a break.

I guess you won't be happy, unless we sign 4 or 5 more players.

More aggressive role? Please show where any evidence of that was today? I haven't seen any change so far despite people suggesting that is what we are doing? And why would i be happy after that today? I set high standards, our aim this season is top six, the end.

And by the way, i don't understand all this three games in give it a break crap, i haven't gone over the top today, in fact i am quite chilled about the whole thing.

My personal chilled level headed takes from this afternoon are that we can no longer play Moutinho and Neves together in a midfield two.

Vinagre sadly isn't good enough and a long way short of Jonny who he has to match if we are to maintain our levels.

We cannot continue to rely on Jimenez up front on his own trying to score the goals.

A midfield two, Jesus. That’s Marco Silva level of stupid from Wolves boss. Any team going two in middle gets outnumbered in the PL.

Unbelievably I've seen the R word mentioned on Twitter and by mates of mine on WhatsApp. Football fans can be a particularly reactionary bunch.

I've got complete faith in Nuno and his team to put this right but no doubt there's work to do.

Oh dear Ding1e5....
4-0 to lowly ‘ammers!
At least we lost to two top of the table teams.
Has the bubble well and truly burst?

Yeah no fears of relegation

Semedo must love footy right now, 8-2 and 4-0 defeats his last two games

posted on 27/9/20

Barcelona won 4-0 without him too.

Thought he showed some good work going forward but left Boly exposed a lot in the same way Traore did which makes me wonder if the positioning of the wing backs so far up the pitch is tactical. Needs to change if it is cos it ain't working.

You could argue we don't really play with much of a midfield at all given they sit so deep with at least one of them generally in the back line picking up the ball

Oh and Traore? Is he worthy of starts in the premier league? Feel like we lose something as a team quite often when he begins games.

Traore absolutely should be a last 30 min sub. It's practically a niche position/situation he's needed for.

That is the way i lean as well.

Crikey. Reading back through these some of these comments, it appears some fans think we can't even criticise after losing 4-0 to a relegation threaten team.

It's mental isn't it?!?!

Such a shame we got knocked out of the cup so early as it would have been a great chance to try players in different roles.

I wonder how Hoever would do at RCB and we can put Boly back to LCB where he has always looked best as he looks awful right now, he didn't look any better today than he did with Traore at wing back next to him.

I think my issue overall is that our whole set up relies on wing backs and i just don't think that is ever going to be the path to success for us, would rather we had a back four to be honest. Even when Marcal is fit he isn't an attacking wing back. Unless we put Semedo on that side and Hoever on the right.

Semedo, Boly, Coady, Saiss, Marcal

Hoever, Boly, Coady, Saiss, Semedo

Semedo, Hoever, Coady, Boly, Marcal

I think the third of those options is the one to go with for now unless we are bringing in a new face at this stage.
