The only reason I can think people hate Kane is jealousy and the fact he scores against them a lot. Arsenal being the main culprits on here picking him. What other reason ? He’s not a nasty player. Harry Kane too. Wouldn't mind him if people called him out for the kind of player he was but the fact that people don't and he does stuff like lie on his daughters life, makes him pretty unbearable for me.

he does do way too much diving tbf Don but he is in the majority there though. theres an obsession over him because hes England captain and the way he talks etc and is a 'boring' character(good professional) off the pitch.

Actually agree with this. He's done nothing wrong apart from being good at football

The whole being a Spurs player and loving to score against us obviously contributes

But the fact that he does challenges that are illegal in rugby but no refs/media ever look at him in a vaguely neutral light annoys me. Plus the whole thing where he swore on his daughters life that he touched the ball, when replays showed that he didn't, tells you a lot about his character too.

Lamela would have made my list if he didn't get his red at the weekend

Two players I couldn't stand and then we ended up signing both of them -

Dennis Wise, the cod-eyed pissant. Exactly the sort of kid at school who would kick you from behind and then run off and hide behind the teacher.

Steffen Freund, the weasel faced German. Couldn't stand him when he was at Spurs and then we sign him and he was gash.

Special mentions for Shearer, nasty piece of work. Disliked him a lot before that night at Filbert Street when he kicked Lennon in the head, and then got away with it.

Never liked Ian Wright as a player but quite like him as a pundit now.

His goalscoring record against Arsenal is one aspect of it.

But I dislike how frequently he moans to the referees, seems to get away with a lot of poor challenges and has the tendency to dive too much.

I hate the way he's portrayed as some golden human being when he's far from it.
