Good lord, the amount of ads on that page is appalling. Basically a page full of ads interrupted by the occasional sentence of news story.

Debatable that it’s ‘news’

Better coach than Ole? Definitely. Plays good football? Yea I'd say so.

But us he better than Klopp Pep n Tuchel? Not for me.

If he is the next guy then so be it and I will be fully behind him but I'm not excited about that appointment if it's true. We will be hearing sack Brenda chants within 2 years.

Probably more of a rumour.

This seems to be how the club go about sacking managers though.

Agree. If we get Rodgers he won’t last past the end of next season IMO.

Problem is that we gift wrapped the only manager available that’s on a level with Klopp and Tuchel for Spurs.

I think he will. Players tend to react pretty well to him early on. It's after 2-3 years where he generally starts to struggle. You'll get progressive football though and a tactically competent coach with BR though.

Defensively poor though.

Conte would have ruffled feathers. That's all it was down to and I told Robb this.

The Glazers 5cuuum don't want a loose cannon in charge who will call them out on their BS. Definitely not after Jose.

So Diego Simeone and Conte were non starters.

To be honest if we’re going for Rodgers, I’d much rather go for Ten Haag, who competes with top sides in the CL on a regular basis, wins leagues even though he loses his best players and also plays great football.

Guess Rodgers has been there and done it in the PL though. Hopefully learnt a lot since he fecked up the title at Liverpool.

Problem with Ten Hag is that he may just be a guy who only operates as well as he does as part of the well oiled machine that is Ajax. He would have to sacrifice a few ideals to join a club which has actual competition rather than Ajax who dominate their league. I think he a very good coach but he doesn’t offer any more guarantees than Brendan does

You hope it's true because you think he's the answer or just because you want Ole out?

We shouldn't be looking for an improvement on Ole because on the face of it that shouldn't be too difficult.

We need a manager who can compete.

Tbf to Rodgers his Leicester side spent more time in the top 4 than Chelsea and won an Fa cup against all odds. Plus his side went to City and put 5 past a Pep side.

Ten Hag won't leave Ajax mid season seems to be the noise coming out of Holland. Can't blame the guy as Ajax look class.

I'd like him to get the job too so that means it would have to be a caretaker till May.

Ole also hadn't lost a league Derby for 3 years until yesterday. Can't read into single games too much.

Ultimately Brenda is a better manager than Ole undoubtedly but I don't think he will win us a league title whilst Pep n Klopp are around. However he may once they leave.

City were supposedly interested in Rodgers as a replacement for Pep.

Nailed on he's going to United now.

And then Leicester didn’t finish in the Top 4.

I think we’ll get the shock of our lives when we see our players go onto the pitch with decent tactical instructions and some coherence to our play. It’s like we’ve been suffering from Oslo syndrome for the past 3 seasons.
