I'd imagine a huge proportion of that is down to boys that will end up going into manual jobs, often expected to by their families, not valuing education as it's not a huge necessity.
It's not an extreme category to say the sport of football is misogynistic. You only have to go to a football match to realise this.

and as the guy above points out, a totally female coverage of Sky's WSL...is that unacceptable levels of sexism against men? Where's the outcry?
I think Rosso summed it up perfectly early on in this thread.
There are good female pundits and there are bad ones, there are good male pundits and there is loads of terrible ones. If you rated their 'punditry' out of 10 I reckon the average for the female's would be higher than the males.
People (muppets) care more about a woman speaking about football than anything though.
There's usually outcry from the same men that cry about there being female pundits on the men's game.

There is one interesting male vs female issue in society that I've never seen mentioned even by your typical bloke that irrationally believes a lot of incel nonsense.
Why there's very little attempt to create an educational environment where males do not get consistently outperformed by females. I read there's approx a 10% difference in male vs female GCSE scores. Then later on the percentage of males/females studying at degree level - again there's a bit more than 10% more females.
Not saying anything needs to change, just that it doesn't seem to be picked up on generally but does indicate an education system that favours the strengths of a particular gender.
As life goes on men tend to do well enough in work for various reasons so perhaps it's not seen as a pressing issue as it doesn't appear to hold men back disproportionately later on
----------------------------------------------------------------------
its because women disproportionately do subjects which arent really 'proper' subjects. like home economics, communications, etc
men are still expected to be doing finance, engineering, etc etc
if you are a man and come out of uni with a home economics degree then no one would take you seriously.

It does seem to be a football only issue though. To be fair, for many years now in other sports you’ve had women doing men’s athletics and tennis coverage, among many other sports. Their argument is that the sport is the same wether it’s a man or woman playing it

Even the UFC has women covering pay per views.

This guy is throwing around terms like misogyny. I dont think he knows what it means.
I would say that many of the coaches are probably men because they have been chosen on merit and not on gender. That is not to say there are no quality female coaches out there but the "easy" approach would be to select from the massive pool of vastly experienced male coaches out there
