Ivan;

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou was also asked about his players not being freed for international duty in order to play in the Sydney Cup, much to the chagrin of Scotland manager Steve Clarke.

"It's quite simple," he explained. "Steve's got every right to be disappointed, he's the national team manager. I've been there and I've been disappointed.

"As a club manager we're sometimes disappointed that players go away with the national team and get injured or don't play. So we all get over our disappointment pretty quickly.

"I have no issue with Steve. I wish him all the best. But for us, it's been in our planning for quite a while. We've got guys going to the World Cup. It's not just Scotland we've kept the guys from, we feel this tour is important for us and important for our supporters and our club.

"That's why we've taken the decision."

I think we could have written his response prior to him saying it!

It is what it is. Hopefully no hard feelings between the two.

Went and had a look at twitter.

Looked offside to me.

Although the still shot I saw was a fraction of a second after the ball left the players foot.

At first glance, I thought he could have been offside. The problem is the camera angle they showed to ‘prove’ he was offside. The camera is practically in line with our 18 yard line-it’s miles away.

Also thought it was a red card for the foul on Starfelt.

Not seen the tackle, but I wonder if the fact Watt got his VAR red card rescinded last week played a part in their decision.

I just watched it. I would say yellow to be honest but it was a bad tackle.

I thought the foul on GG at the weekend was a yellow (we didn’t even get a free kick for it), but that one last night was a red. Thought it was completely reckless.

If he'd given a red I wouldn't make a strong argument against it tbh. My take it was one of those that deserve a strong yellow, if you know what I mean.
