Ward is bang average despite his recent improvement, Amartey bang average, Castagne decent but not exactly being chased by europes elite, Perez, Vestergard, Bertrand, Mendy, Albrighton - FFS behave yourself. We’re getting bailed out by Maddison, Faes and Tielemans week on week

Seriously? You still cannot give the manager any credit? At the start of the season we were losing to utter dross like Southampton and Bournemouth, at least we’re now beating the crap around us.

Not sure West Ham away is a given for us to be honest. It’s clear you don’t like Rodgers and that’s fair enough, most of us on here wanted him out a few weeks back but I can hold my hands up and say he’s turned it round in recent games.

Not Rodgers greatest fan but he deserves respect for turning things around recently,we now go into break on a high,so please just enjoy it.
Constant sniping is just getting boring and unnecessary.

Gosh well this has opened a can of worms hasn’t it???
Who knew that an upturn in form would be as divisive as this for some ‘supporters’….
Casting our minds back to August, we were being told that the uncertainty of the transfer window was having an effect on the squad morale and the planning by our management team.
A lot of people threw that idea out as an excuse, but if you look at the results since the transfer window shut then you will see stability in the squad and an upturn in the results….
Won 6
Lost 4 ( including Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City)
Drawn 1
( that’s in all competitions btw)
Rodgers was asking for defensive reinforcements and when they came ( after a bedding in period) our defence has become one to be proud of, in a surprising way as many of us ( me included) didn’t think Ward or Amartey are first team quality.
But the management team surely must be given the credit for the turnaround in the form, as they were in the firing line at the beginning of the season!
I for one am frustrated that the World Cup is now here, we have hit a run of form and we could do with it carrying on but cè là viè
For me Brendan and the board are fully responsible for the poor start but we have to admit ( even TB and his BR voodoo doll) that he has got it right and the boards patience & belief is being rewarded right now.
As has been said already a trip to West Ham is normally a ‘ good grief we will get nothing there again’ sort of game, but the belief, luck, quality and squad stability is better now than 10 weeks ago.

West Ham are just another team in freefall with their fans calling for Moyes to go, our lock has been getting a run of games of teams in disaster mode.

Play Forest tomorrow and would you expect another 4-0 win?

As for the start of the Season, people with far more insight than us mere fans have said how Rodgers brought the mood to the Club, it's his PR you can't see through.

That sums up the issue TB….. we can only beat the teams in front of us, and if they are in ‘free fall’ as you say then we still have to go out and do the business.
Unfortunately if we lose then it’s Rodgers fault ( with a sprinkling of Tilly obviously) and if we win then it’s because the opposition is dire. At the start of the season I don’t think we would have beaten West Ham yet today was a different team & belief.
Surely even you in your ‘anti Rodgers’ tower can at least see the upturn in performances ( defence tighter, creating more chances, conversion rate better) is something to credit the team and management for?
Or are you that alienated by our club now?
If so then it didn’t take much, considering what we have all been through over the years this season has not scrapped the bottom of the barrel at all…

I see the Team performing closer to their potential now but you forget Rodgers Rubbished this Team.

It's no co-incidence surely that the upturn comes from the new defensive coach brought in and there's none of that Joke Zonal Marking anymore, who gets the credit for that, surely not Rodgers unless this guy was another one of Rodgers old pals he brought in?

I agree with DUTAC, I’m that Rodgers and the board deserve credit for the change in fortunes. I didn’t think they could do it so I’m glad to be wrong.

However I lay most of the bad start at Rodgers door. His criticism of the board, the fans, his players for me was petty and a massive factor in our start.

I still don’t like the fact he isn’t applauding the fans. That’s poor and smack of a man that is only interested in himself. He needs to admit he has made mistakes too, but I think he genuinely believes that he’s been let down. That still angers me.

But he absolutely deserves credit for our change in form. 3 times now I thought he was done, and he’s managed to turn us around. We’ve made it to the World Cup clear of relegation and on the up.

I’m pretty happy about that, and happy for Rodgers to stay. But I want to see more respect to the people that pay him. Publicly.

Myself and maybe Foxello ( if he hasn't changed his mind ) who think he's a Grade A Cvnt and want him out of the Club.

I back our Owners and always will to make the decisions they believe are right, it's their Club but while Rodgers is at the Club I'll never pay to go again, that's my decision.
