This is a total farce of a Test series. Current Pakistan team have to be one of the worse ever Test sides.
-------
England have been lucky under Stokes in that have played the worst ever New Zealand test team, worst ever
Indian test team, worst ever South African test team and now the worst ever Pakistan test team
Do Crawley and Duckett have somewhere to be, this is one day mode
Sandy absolutely seething watching this, fantastic stuff.
The complete incompetence of Pakistan must be driving him wild
Will be letting Crawley get to 50 next
When was the last time England had a leg spinner take five wickets in a test match?

When Crawley is comfortable and going better than 1 a ball you know the opposition is pretty poor

looks like rashid did it in 2015, don't think we have had any prolific leggies since then.
and rashid was the first to do it since 1959 (!)

Stokes is a poor player in an era of poor players. England are a poor team in an era of poor teams. Nobody watches test cricket. Test cricket is dead. Long live Test cricket.
England might want to book the earlier flight

Rashid in Abu Dhabi
Is Rashid available for red ball cricket?
Rashid is a strange one. World class in one dayers but just could never translate it to test form. Always seemed to get the yips.

Mad thing is, despite the ridiculousness of this series and the perception that he's finally cracked it... He still averages under 30 this year and in his test career overall. I know Bazball means fluctuating scores but he's STILL averaging less than basically every other bat.
He's very fortunate to be in a winning team that backed him. Also lucky to be a younger man from Kent rather than an older boy from Yorkshire.
He needs to be replaced before the Ashes.
Well that should be 3-0 wrapped up unless something dramatic happens tomorrow. Incredible turnaround and for all the "this is a poor Pakistan side" comments, I've no doubt that Root's England would have lost this series 2-0 with a drawn first test.
Everyone has bought into the mentality and the fearlessness of just going out and playing to win games of cricket without the pressure of what will happen if we lose. The positive approach has been great and something that many have called for and one that I personally thought wouldn't work.
Can't see that happening now.
Only 2 Tests v NZ and 1 v Ireland beforehand, so even if he fails they'll probably give him the first 2 games in the Ashes.
