How many people would need to knock back spurs before they would consider Beale?.
And I mean Michael as opposed to Ian.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
More than Ange I would assume, given that he hasnt achieved what Ange has.
any team that ange goes to needs time to adapt to the new setup.
they don't have patience, i'd be amazed if he survived.

Well we know he was offered a PL job, Gravy Guzzler is just hoping he's next.

He wasn’t offered any role, if you’re meaning Wolves. He didn’t even go talk to them.

you think he didnt even speak to them?
Queens Park Rangers head coach Mick Beale says he turned down an approach from Wolves about their vacant managerial position because "it wasn't the right moment".
The Premier League strugglers officially asked the Championship leaders for permission to speak to Beale, 42, a former assistant of Steven Gerrard at Rangers and Aston Villa, but he will remain at QPR.
"Wolves is a fantastic football club and it was a real privilege to be asked to speak to them but I didn't think it was the right moment because I entered into an agreement here," Beale, who was appointed in June on a three-year contract, told QPR's website.

He says he didn’t. Considering his speech about loyalty, it’s an odd one to suggest he’s lying about it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
yes, of course I am.
What happened again after all this loyalty speak and long term project and stuff..........
It’s an odd one to lie about. Most folk would have said out of courtesy, they went and spoke to them-but Beale was quite emphatic.
Unless you’ve got evidence to the contrary, then I can’t see what’s wrong with what I said.
Odd.
He turned Wolves down.
Not even worth chatting with a PL team such was his lack of interest thinking Rangers could be an option soon after. Then Rangers come and he couldn't get up here fast enough.
Ange meanwhile refusing to assure the fans. Look he said with congealed gravy in the corner of his mouth I've told you all how straightforward I am at every opportunity i get but in this instance i'm not gonna be for some reason...

Of course he would have spoken to them he isnt an idiot. It didnt appeal to him and stayed where we was, said the reason was due to laylty to QPR, the players, the project then left them weeks later after his next approach.
They wanted him to take the job. He didn't fancy it and refused the approach.
He refused to speak about the detail of the job because he didn't want it. So yes he spoke to them to say he's not speaking to them. All clear?
Whilst i'm here can I say how bad the title of this article is.

Its just opinions. do I have a transcript that proves im right no.
IMO he would have spoken to Wolves about the job, expectations, salary and decided if it was worth moving if it would help or hinder his career more. He felt that it would hinder it and stayed put.
The only thing we know for certain was the whole loyalty to QPR and the project was lies cos he left them weeks later for us.

I suspect he said no because it looked like they might pass each other like ships in the night at one stage.
QPR then stumbled and Wolves picked it up.
It's also possible he realised being a newbie to management and ex-Villa wasn't going to give him time if it didn't start well. A gamble he chose not to take because there was a lot to lose and not much to gain.
So, nothing to confirm that what I posted was wrong then-just a feeling and an opinion.
