Hyperbolic bollox.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You should have just said Fake News if you want to dismiss an argument without any reasoned explanation

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hector is almost in conspiracy theory territory given how far out of touch he is with everyone else
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm delighted to hear I'm completely out of touch with you, great news.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And the left wing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Am I Left wing? Go out and inhabit the real world for a few hours, you're clearly befuddled.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know what you are, you seem to be a political anomaly right now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So why lump.me in with "and the left wing" you must have your reasoning.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't lump you in, I just pointed out that you don't share their views.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A disingenuous comment, how boring.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
An ad hominem, how predictable.

What's your definition of clique exactly? The vast majority of the population?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're a minority.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Feel free to demonstrate people who are against the PIP cuts are in the minority
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're making claims, back them.up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't make a claim that anyone here was in a clique. Can't you demonstrate why they are using data?
--------------------------------------------------------------------
No

Anyway, moving on from the troll.

https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/academics-show-labour-is-overwhelmingly-targeting-its-own-voters-with-pip-cuts

"Academics show Labour is overwhelmingly targeting its own voters with PIP cuts
"Researchers found that:

The ten worst-hit constituencies are all Labour-held, and in “Red Wall” areas
The impacts will disproportionately affect the constituencies which already have the lowest life expectancies in England"

What? You insinuated my political opinion and then 5hat it. Zzz

posted on 9/5/25

I didn't insinuate it, you're on here defending Labour's policies which aren't popular with the left wing and attacking others.

posted on 9/5/25

Popularity isn't necessarily a positive (or negative) in terms of positive impact.

Problem for Labour isn't just that many of their headline policies aren't just popular, they're ill conceived, target the wrong people and will make matters worse.

I'm defending f**k all, I'm enjoying you right wing conservative fellows criticising anyone as if the last 14 years never happened. Your boys and girls trashed the place, left us in near 100% debt and lowered all of our standards of living for the first time ever and all because they refused to take tough decisions because UKIP were breathing down their neck.
The majority hates right-wing populism so much they voted in the grey, dull technocrat, the majority either don't care or are mature enough to appreciate there are tough calls to make, that the ship needs steadying after the disastrous conservatives and are.willing to wait and see.
It's blindingly obvious tough decisions are unpopular, some will be forced through, some with be reversed

So your response to people who are against the PIP cuts and give reasons as to why is to post load of whatabouttery and insinuate their political views

Ok well if you haven't insinuated my political views, reference a post of mine which is demonstrates I'm a right wing conservative fellow.

You're just trolling at this point. Must really hate disabled people if this is how you respond when people rightly point out how awful the PIP cut is.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/mar/21/pip-cuts-will-ruin-disabled-peoples-lives-this-is-labours-poll-tax-moment

"Pip cuts will ruin disabled people’s lives. This is Labour’s poll tax moment"

"
There is no doubt that the disability benefits system is broken – but not in the ways the government suggests (Editorial, 18 March). The current system is hostile, inefficient and difficult to navigate – often worsening the physical and mental health of claimants, through energy-depleting assessment and appeal processes, gaslighting and having to fight to be seen."

This is absolutely spot on if anyone is self centred enough to have gone through life not engaging with disabled people, and wants to educate themselves on this matter.

Can we all just agree that the Tories are truly awful and should never be allowed to govern again (unsure if they were awful pre Thatcher as well but I think we have a large enough sample size regardless).
And
That Starmers Labour are well on their way to failing miserably.

Nope, I don't think this executive is failing.
It's made a few PR fk ups but it's far from failing...imo.

Boris seems to love this Government though, suspect he used to be a Tory given his Osbourne style rhetoric about large amounts of sick scroungers.

Fair enough

How do you think they've done vs your expectations just prior to them taking office?
