Maybe because no manager worth his salt will touch us with a bargepole.
Maybe Big Sam might fancy it?
This is worse than the shenanigans with Gattuso, who would have thought that was even possible?!
Best decision.
- No top manager available
- No top players available for transfer this window at reasonable prices
- Still in cups
-Injured players slowly coming back

That's because they all know Levy is to involved , He probably goes around at half time handing out the oranges giving the team talk while Ange stands there and growls at the floor .

Agreed
I really didn’t have fighting for premier league survival on my 2025 bingo card.
Be interesting how they feel if we go out of the cup and performances in the league are still dire. Can't see a win in the league coming anywhere soon with the next set of fixtures.
I do understand that it would be better to conduct a proper manager search in the summer than panic appoint someone, however I'm not sure someone even just filling in until the end of the season couldn't do any worse.

Get Harry in as caretaker till the summer it's not hard .
It’s pure madness
I said pre Everton that Levy was gambling that Ange won’t take us down. I said pre Leicester that Levy was gambling that Ange won’t take us down. I will say again pre Brentford, Levy is taking a massive gamble that Ange won’t take us down.
A new man getting a new manager bounce and picking up a couple of wins might be all we need to survive.

This
The Board would be utterly stupid now to sack a manager who, so far, they have failed to properly help through this crisis.
Going into the season with only 3 CBs was a risk, it hasnt paid off, they should have been primed to rectify this shortcoming. They havent.
The wide players missing is very unlucky but again, we went big for Muani and had no plan B.
Both these issues have cost us further in recent games as we have struggle to put a first XI and have had no bench to speak of.
To sack Angew now would for me rank as one of the worst decisions ever by the Board because more than any other manager, I think he has been left high and dry by our inactivity to see us through a crucial part of the season. Players become more fatigued, risk more injury , have to play through injury and confidence is being destroyed with every game.
Even when players return, what will they be walking into. A team of knackered players, half injured players, low confidence players. We're not going to see a magic immediate turn around even with a lot of the key players back.
This is not to say that Ange is the long term answer, but putting the blame on him for where we are now would be utterly cowardly by Levy et al.
The focus should be almost entirely on Levy and Lange. They have set Ange up to fail, and while success this season may have looked like a top 6 and some decent cup runs, the chances of that are very very remote now.
