The best we've had to experience are the Jimbo days, one successful play-off season leading to a dreadful PL campaign and two failed play-offs. The QPR match the most difficult to accept.

Received some updates regarding our Jan transfer targets. Informed we were after this lad from Man City's Academy ( DM ) with a £2m fee agreed. The player's camp having last minute concerns about PW's style. Norwich have since agreed a loan and agree to buy deal with City.

Rather adventurous but the rumours imply we were also interested in Ineacho (Seville) who has since joined Middlesbrough. Had we pipped them to the signing who knows what sort of litigation may have kicked off! Not sure we'd have been able to afford that one.

We were also linked with WBA's John Swift ( AM, LW). I am left wondering how many of these deals collapse due to PWs handling of the transfer or the fact his management style does not appeal to the linked players and how many have failed due to the offer made by our club isn't the financial package the player is seeking?

PW did appear to lose out on several targets in L1 who moved to either Portsmouth or Oxford. Same thing appears to have occured in the Champ. They can't all have been due to the PW factor, can they?

Apparently theres an article in the Telegraph which tells us more about the Jan recruitment and the PW effect.

Saw that rumour too! Hopefully it's not as serious as it could be.

We must be top of the league for breaking players.

Not entirely sure if CBT's injury was confirmed as ' out for the season' and still waiting on official confirmation regards Viking. But that's some list given our threadbare squad for quality.

I also tore a calf muscle last night playing footy so will be out for the foreseeable. I had thought of offering up my services to Mr Eustace but that plan has had to go now.
