But we have a 2nd leg at home and will need to show our qualities.
That's why the OTT reaction is not needed....yet. More of the same next week and Ange's job will be almost impossible to save IMO. A convincing win and its job done and on to the next round where we will have to up our levels.
I stay off the matchday threads for the same reason. Reactionary OTT crying from fans....it's as if some don't know sometimes a team can play badly, in a half and do better in the next half. Then it’s like the ETH situation, yes we’ve won a trophy but the manager is clearly not up to the task on a long term basis as he can’t replicate good results consistently - in fact, the only consistency we see is the poor performances and excuses.
If we win Europa, he will get to start next season, that’s beyond doubt, Levy won’t have a choice. But I would put our chances of getting through next week at 60/40 against and I would give our chances of fouling the Europa a 2% chance - I would expect Lazio and Frankfurt to batter us in the away ties

I asked first!!!
If we get ko'd next week then he's gone. Whether it's immediate or end of season doesnt really matter as the club will be looking for a replacement any way and should be pretty swift in maning that change early summer (no one is coming at this point in a season).
It looks like its becoming more inevitable but if we get through, the next round is in a month or so, and we see how we go.
IMO, we can go far but we will have to play an awful lot better. With players back there will be no excuse not to. We have beaten many good teams under Ange, thrashed a good lot of them, so we are capable. Right now seems unlikely but there's no point getting toxic about it until our exit happens. In the mean time the manager and the players have my support and i'll be there with my boys next week cheering them on with all i have not hoping for a loss to validate a narrative.

But we have a 2nd leg at home and will need to show our qualities.
That's why the OTT reaction is not needed....yet. More of the same next week and Ange's job will be almost impossible to save IMO. A convincing win and its job done and on to the next round where we will have to up our levels.
I stay off the matchday threads for the same reason. Reactionary OTT crying from fans....it's as if some don't know sometimes a team can play badly, in a half and do better in the next half. Or sometimes its just a grind....which what last night was, a grind, decided by a random OG and we're still in the tie. Not ideal but not a disaster that demands fans start questioning everything, calling for the managers head, calling out other fans who have a more positive, considered view.

Then it’s like the ETH situation, yes we’ve won a trophy but the manager is clearly not up to the task on a long term basis as he can’t replicate good results consistently - in fact, the only consistency we see is the poor performances and excuses.
If we win Europa, he will get to start next season, that’s beyond doubt, Levy won’t have a choice. But I would put our chances of getting through next week at 60/40 against and I would give our chances of fouling the Europa a 2% chance - I would expect Lazio and Frankfurt to batter us in the away ties

I asked first!!!
If we get ko'd next week then he's gone. Whether it's immediate or end of season doesnt really matter as the club will be looking for a replacement any way and should be pretty swift in maning that change early summer (no one is coming at this point in a season).
It looks like its becoming more inevitable but if we get through, the next round is in a month or so, and we see how we go.
IMO, we can go far but we will have to play an awful lot better. With players back there will be no excuse not to. We have beaten many good teams under Ange, thrashed a good lot of them, so we are capable. Right now seems unlikely but there's no point getting toxic about it until our exit happens. In the mean time the manager and the players have my support and i'll be there with my boys next week cheering them on with all i have not hoping for a loss to validate a narrative.
