I'm sensing tomorrow's game as a tough one.Looking at their recent results, grinding out a draw vs Middlesbrough who are doing rather well, they'll be tough opponents.

Depending on what you believe PNE do also have a couple of players we were allegedly interested in, in this summer window and the past.

GK- Iversen
RB - Valentin
LB - Small
CM - Armstrong

Plus Lewis Dobbin who we had on loan back in 2022. I had actually forgotten that 'Stretch' will be playing for them (was a sub in the last game) but if match fit now you'd expect him to play. Be a good challenge for our midfield two Travis/Ebou.

I'd like to see us play with two up front in this game but Ageymang to come off the bench. Perhaps Morris/ B B-Diaz up front?

Last week was such an enjoyable day out. Tomorrow we will either come back down to earth or start thinking that momentum could be starting to build. Eustace is dull as ditchwater in interviews but he is a very astute manager. He is very much substance over style - find ways to get points on the board first and worry about the beautiful game later.

At home I would like to see the shackles come off a bit and give a back four a go as I think will be the plan in the longer term. I don’t think Paddy or the Viking are ready to start so. Could go with:

We are looking very Billy Davies like at the moment. Took a while for Davies’s side to manage a win. So now we have learned how to win are we going on a long unbeaten run to the top? Probably not.

If both teams line up in a 5-3-2 or whatever you want to call the formation it's going to be a low score ding dong. Managed to listen to RD today and one of the guests was rather optimistic and said it's going to be 5-4 to us. If you're going to the match wouldn't that be a great game to watch!

Well I trump Chiles, the useless berk. He didn’t even see the falcon drop it.

Also, BBD’s attempt on goal seems to have been wiped from the public consciousness. It was a decent effort, a shot on target that was blocked by a defender. But not shown in any highlights. Did I imagine it?

No, early on in the second-half.

Also his header that went wide in the first half. Essentially we battered the Baggies. They were fortunate to get off so lightly.

They were supposedly the better side last night. Such incidents wouldn’t stop the game as the locals would rush on to the pitch to add the unfortunate avian to their parmo.
