I’m pretty sure there were posters on here defending Kemar Roofe when he broke a goalie’s jaw while doing a Cobra Kai manoeuvre.

Now, they’re wanting a public flogging of a player for grazing the side of his foot off someone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Roofe got sent off and was issued with a four match ban
He was challenging for the ball but didn't matter
Pretty certain VAR would've have it if the ref hadn't

Compare that with a request for a red for a petulant kick if you want......bit foolish though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rangers appealed the red card.

wonderful win yesterday

an exciting game as well , packed with incident and talking points - polar opposite from the awful game at Ibrox earlier in the season .
Having rewatched the highlights , Schmeichel was brilliant for us yesterday - two massive one on one saves .
Trusty should see red , but i also can see a yellow being enough
Ralston pen - no chance .
Walsh was pretty poor for both teams yesterday , not convinced on the foul he gave against Forrest when we had a 3 vs 1 break either .

Yes we did.....cos he was challenging for the ball, that was the argument.

Would you have been happy if he was only given a yellow for being a bit reckless like?

something which i found interesting was the difference in the attitude of both teams yesterday from the match at ibrox earlier in the season where both teams looked completely uninterested.

not the case yesterday.

He flew through the air and broke the keeper’s jaw. He was wildly out of control. Posters defended him, and your club appealed the decision.

Trusty tapped your goalie on the side of the face, and look at the reaction.

Still at a loss how folk can’t see the difference. But I’ll enjoy it anyway.

i think the trusty one is a red, the more i see it, i think its due to the lateness in which he decides to move his foot.

seen some people make it on like he volleyed him on the head or something, he didn't.

You've just highlighted the difference yourself

One was out of control
One was intentional

I don’t think it fits the criteria for a red. Daft isn’t part of the criteria.

It was ‘a stamp’ yesterday.

I fully expect by midweek ‘Auston Trusty puts babies into ovens’.

One endangered the opponent-by breaking his jaw such was the force.

One didn’t even leave a bit of dirt.

And intent is pretty difficult to prove. That’s very subjective of you. Especially for a guy that was done debating refereeing decisions.

Anyway, I’ll leave you to keep crying about it. Nothing said about Cornelius challenge fitting the criteria for a red with his booking, or not even conceding a foul for pulling back Osmand late on in the game that would have been another yellow at least. Ralston being pushed to the ground for your ‘penalty’, Hatate being barged off the ball in the box, and the handball from Balikwisha’s cross near the end as well. That’s before we talk about Walsh and his use of the advantage rule…

Only part of the criteria though, isn’t it?

Don’t get why folk aren’t discussing the force required for it.

No more from me on this. Promise.

When there is intent there, force of content does not matter a jot

Intent is pretty easy to prove when a player moves part of their body directly towards someone's face when the ball is basically out of play in the keepers arms

Keep going on about force all you want POV

Just back home from the game. Logged in to see if Stevie had turned a scheidt Rangers performance into blaming everyone else

I wasn't disappointed (unlike Tav)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He didn't.

He just blamed the ref this time

But what a difference

Today we bossed the game

Intensity passion and chances

When we get going we will be unstoppable
----------------------------------------------------------------------
.....against 10 men for 80 out of 120mins
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So we weren't constantly the better team prior to the sending off?

What a shame

Why you raging?

Is it because we actually have people who want to manage our club?

I think this is the most salient point, to be honest.

We can, and no doubt will, all debate this back-and-forth like back-seat referees all week but the fact remains: we won, they lost, their Sundays were ruined and they all sat at home in the dark with their fat lips trembling while their wives and kids prudently decided to visit the grandparents.

Get it, as you say, up them.

Must feel like manic depression.

Ok.
Your team got played off the park for most of the game. Best team won despite Nick Walsh's considerable efforts to level things up.
Enjoy your day.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Where to start, you got outplayed for 45mins against 10men.

You finished with 11 men when it should have been 9 ffs.

But aye you were the victims. Mental.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That youz ended up with only 1 sending off, and the “offside” goal, would be reasonable counters to the wailing and gnashing of teeth from certain rangers fans.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And the "penalty"
