João Pedro hardly a proven goal scorer, would be a bit of a nothing signing in all honesty

Suspect he goes to LW predominantly if we sign him. Can see Sancho going back to United, no certainty on Mudryk yet either way either.

Yeah as long as we're not buying him as a striker and as long as Brighton don't try to rinse more than about 60 mill out of us could be a decent signing

He's not really a LW though, is he? Pretty much played as a 9/10 for Brighton in the last two seasons.

Not excited by this one tbh

Played LW for his time at Watford mainly, so fairly versatile. Wouldn't be my first choice, but if it was for LW I'm not as fussed, could be worse. But if hes being signed as a striker, then no.

Forest have won one of their 11 Premier League games this season in which they have conceded the opening goal (two draws, eight defeats).

Early goal for us then 🤔

Al-Hilal have reportedly offered Bruno Fernandes £700,000-a-week to join them this summer

Supposedly João Pedro can play anywhere across the front line which includes wide as well as 9 and 10 if needed so presumably that gives us a lot of versatility, especially for the various managers we're likely to have over the next five or more years.

So from that perspective I'm on board with the signing but if we're buying him to play him just as our main striker then it's an awful signing. So it all depends on why he's being brought in.

João Pedro + a proper prolific striker would make sense and bolster our attacking options. Would give us an alternative to Palmer in the 10 role as well which we don't really have.

#Chelsea have not held any talks and are not exploring a deal for Brighton's Joao Pedro.

🗣 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: "We've had a ten-month season, but it's almost like a one-game shoot-out right now between five teams.

We know what we need to do and we want to be celebrating at the end."

Estevao?

This seems to be a strange rumour, he's a good player but he's not excellent in any position. I can understand why they like Delap as he brings something different to Jackson, for me i want either a prolific goalscorer or a big target man.

Murillo potential to play tomorrow, however has not trained all week and played with an injured ankle against West Ham.

Hudson-Odoi back from injury and may feature. Taiwo Awoniyi still out.

Marc Guiu expected on the bench.

Nottingham Forest have not beaten Chelsea at home since a 2-0 victory at the City Ground in January 1997, when Stuart Pearce and Chris Bart-Williams scored.

Forest have scored the opening goal in 25 Premier League fixtures this season, a joint high with Arsenal and Liverpool.

Forest Goalkeeper Matz Sels has failed to keep a clean sheet in Forest's previous seven league matches.

Chelsea have taking only 6 points from a possible 30 away from home in the second part of the season.

Cole Palmer has failed to score from open play in any of his last 21 appearances in all competitions, with only 2 of those goals coming outside of London.

Chelsea's starting XI in the Premier League this term has an average age of 24 years and 28 days, which is on course to be a new record by any side in a season, eclipsing Leeds in 1999-00 (24 years and 162 days).

Chelsea transfer strategy has led to some questionable recruits but has fashioned a promising team who should – in theory – be stronger for the challenges they have faced over the past nine months.

That works, as long as Villa draw also 🤣

Options in attacking midfield include Alejandro Garnacho, Morgan Rogers and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. The budget would be boosted by a top-five finish.

Agreement now in place for Will Still to join Southampton on a three-year contract.

Still is expected to be present for Southampton's final game against Arsenal on Sunday.

Interesting to see how he does
