Although its population tops out at just over 300,000 people, Iceland consumes more cheese, butter, and milk than other cheese-loving Western nations, including the United States. Both the history and consumption of cheese in Iceland is somewhat strange, but the industry has made huge strides in the past three decades.

Since France went into lockdown in mid-March, cheese consumption has decreased by nearly 60 per cent. As a result, an industry association warns, more than 5,000 tons of cheese could go to waste if they don’t start eating more — and fast.

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho said they had "one foot in the next round" after Gareth Bale inspired them to victory over Wolfsberger in the Europa League last 32 first leg.

Bale crossed for Son Heung-min to head the opener and then cut inside and blasted home their second goal. That was the first time since April 2013 that he scored and assisted a Tottenham goal in the same game.

Lucas Moura added a fine solo goal before half-time in Budapest.

But Michael Liendl's penalty gave Wolfsberger hope and Christopher Wernitznig hit the bar - before Carlos Vinicius probably killed the tie.

"I don't consider this an incredible victory, just a good victory that brings good feelings," said Mourinho. "The plane back will be a different plane than after a defeat."

Jeez, we miss the snacks.

Imperfect Foods, an online surplus-stock grocery delivery company operating in the West Coast, Texas, the Midwest and the Northeast aimed at eliminating food waste, can help with that. This week it is offering JetBlue airline cheese and snack trays, $2.99 for three ounces of mixed cheeses, dried cherries and crackers.

I guess I'm more of a Big Sam than a Pep. Never been relegated in twenty years of FMing, but I could probably count my Champion's League wins on one hand (and most of those from Barca "cheat code Messi" saves).

The National League will carry on for the remainder of the season but the North and South Divisions have been declared null and void.

More than two weeks after the four resolutions to decide how to end the season were sent by the league to member clubs, the threshold for making a decision was finally reached - even though not all the votes have been received.

The National League campaign will proceed, despite seven out of 23 clubs voting to end the season.

But, while the majority of National League South clubs voted to continue its season (12-9), fewer counterparts in National League North felt the same (7-15) and the decision to scrap the campaign with immediate effect was taken.

Jane Ross scored twice in four minutes as a second half substitute for Scotland

Scotland "demonstrated their mentality" said interim head coach Stuart McLaren as they bounced back from their European Championship disappointment to thrash Cyprus 10-0.

Their Euro qualifying hopes ended last year but in McLaren's first game in charge Erin Cuthbert, Martha Thomas and Jane Ross scored doubles in the rout.

Lizzie Arnot, Claire Emslie, Kirsty Hanson and Caroline Weir also struck.

"They've certainly set their stall out," McLaren told BBC Scotland.

"I thought they showed terrific character to come into a game which unfortunately doesn't mean anything in terms of qualifying, but they still went about their business in a thoroughly professional manner."

Scotland, who last hit double figures in a 10-0 defeat of Macedonia in 2015, had opened their Group E campaign with an eight-goal win over Cyprus in Edinburgh.

And they conclude their fixtures against Portugal at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium on Tuesday (15:10 GMT).
