Rogers. If you are on holiday or a break somewhere you aren't going to take your laptop are you, bore will you take a laptop on a train, bus ext. It's pretty simple, a tablet is lighter, smaller, more compact and more comfortable to hold.

If it isn't for you don't buy one but to suggest is it pointless is pretty ignorant considering millions of people use them every day.

Jailbroken iPhone is far and away better. If I couldn't do it though I would buy something else.

Argh. Cant stand laptops mate. I prefer a desktop pc with a real keyboard and a real mouse

Same with movie files.

Had both, s3 is better.

I refuse to buy a laptop. Refuse to buy an iPhone. I'm happy with my Blackberry even though it has its faults and my desktop PC. I dont need an iPad to use when I'm in the toilet or when I'm walking to the shops.

Surely people dont need to be connected to their mobile/handheld devices 24 fricking 7.

every device type has a purpose that it's better than the other options for. and everyone's work and personal needs are different.

what it really comes down to is can you afford them all just to cover all the possibilities.

The problem I have with that is that I use multiple rooms.

IOS is for people who Apple. Android is for people who love customising their phone/tablet.
