Nah, I'm at work atm. At home I have a desktop PC and I have a Windows Phone Nokia...and yeah, I do use some of the apps (not many) and stuff that new-ish phones can do. I'm not necessarily berating the technology itself, I actually like and follow technology quite closely, it's more the mentality of 'must buy!' that a lot of people have, and the whole showy 'look at me' thing that the others mentioned.

I never got the kindle thing either, especially for people who have a laptop. You can read the fecking books on a laptop. Although it's probably useful for older people who don't know much or feel safe with laptops. I can see the point of them, whereas I can't with tablets.

If you can afford something why wouldn't you buy it if you like it?! So what if Mr X has an iPad and Mr Z has Nokia 3310. It's personal choice. If you find it so annoying then go back and live in the 60's as you'd be better suited there as the world is just gonna get worse worse for you guys. Especially with those Google glasses I can see a lot of people getting annoyed by that.

Rodgers' Revolution pretty much just echoed my sentiment. It's the herd mentality and wanting to be seen using certain tech just because it's cool at that time.

BB - I don't care who uses what technology, that's their prerogative, but if someone tells me they HAVE to have the latest iPhone, when they've got the last version and know full well the new one will be obsolete in 6 months they should expect ridicule IMO

i used to have an phone 4Gs and loved it now i have an S3 thought it was cool at the start but after a while you relies its rubbish as good as android is it doesn't have a patch on Iphone
