That was such an oddly 'flat' final imo. We'd lost out on the league after looking like Villa might beat City for 75 mins. It was pretty apparent Mane had one foot out of the door with talk of announcements after the game.

It just didn't feel focused. And yet we bossed most of the game. You look at the stats and it's ridiculous that we lost. And yet as soon as we went a goal down, I never really felt like we'd get it back.

As I say, odd game. Should have won it, that's for sure.

First goal was always going to be huge and we had no luck in that game whatsoever.

My big what if from that week is what if we went 1-0 v Wolves in that first half.

Having it fed through to City that we were winning whilst they were 2-0 down would have surely got them a bit nervous.

I don’t mind Tuchel, just generally, but think his footy is a bit boring. Also, pretty much every job I’ve seen him in, as soon as there is a bit of adversity he gets super p!say and starts to blame his players. He’s a hyped up Poch, better, but not great.

Bayern would be a good move for Xabi tbf, he’d take Wirtz with him, refresh that squad and win the league you’d have thought.

Muller and Goretzka look done now, not even the huge amount of PED’s that Bayern use can get those two back but they still have a very strong squad.

If he loses the tie then he'll probably get fired but still one more leg left.

When I said should we be worried I was referring to Bayern wanting Xabi. Fek no to Tuchel at Liverpool.

Would be a very Bayern move to sack Tuchel and nick Xabi, hope it doesn't transpire obviously

There was a little push saying De Zerbi is a serious candidate for us this week and I do like him, but I think I'd prefer Thomas Frank even if he's not particularly glamorous. Maybe I'm off the mark

Tuchel is too structured in his tactics. He's a wee bit more exciting Mourinho. We don't need a manager who's going to rip in up and do things differently. We already have a working blueprint. Yes of course managers will bring new ideas but we need to stay as close to the current blueprint as possible.

At least he has experience running a club right after Klopp
