Predictions for the finale?

I think season 1 has been an enjoyable watch. It's had some great moments, introduced new characters and delivered on the nostalgia and references. The weakest elements have been around the writing, the action and some characters failing to live up to expectations.

7 episodes in, I'd give Ahsoka a solid 7/10.

its hard to see what the are building up to exactly ... I think the episode isnt gonna be a big send off episode but more a build up to a cliff hanger.

its been a solid 6/10 for me if I had watched the other stuff required it would most likely be a 7 for me too I assume

I'd give it a 6.5 but the Anakin episode boosted the show.

It's still well below Mando and Andor for me.

I think Thrawn shows his badassery… messes up our ‘Heroes’… a cliffhanger ending is required, not some ‘oh let’s hold hands, and sing Kumbiya by the camp fire’

At the moment I give the show an 8… not a solid 8, subject to change.

Yeh think I aint changing my mind since about mid season - its a filler series/prepping for movie and the Anakin episode was the highlight. Tonight will just be Thrawn escaping back ready for whatever is next and our heroes not quite doing enough

Overal its been a solid 7 for me - arguably the most Star Warsy live action thing we have had in a decade or 2. Unfortunately, let down by being a filler and incorrectly labelled - its Rebels, not Ahsoka. Some excellent characters introduced and some known characters not directed too well.

Although this is a Dave project I think he's ultimate goal as defined by Darth KK is to link the OG movies to the sequels hence we seem to have these out of place things foreshadowing them

I do expect a better season 2 but let's be honest, it seems like all roads are leading to this team up movie and anything before that, might just continue to be largely filler.

I'd give it an 8 too, so far. Started badly but since then it's felt a lot like Star Wars, the Rebels characters have been done well and there's been good nostalgia, a slowly that's clearly moving to something (even if it might not be that satisfying a pay off later), a journey for Ahsoka & one great new antagonist and another highly anticipated one who hasn't failed for me.

Yes some of it is stupid and frustrating, but most Star Wars is at times.

I also haven't really thought the saber fights were that bad, apart from maybe Ahsoka vs Baylon round 2, but I do miss some of the physicality of the Prequels cos it's just fun to watch

100% Guv - think everyone looks at what Marvel done in over a decade and they want that in a few series rather than a dozen movies or more with somewhat self-contained movies and stories.

DC tried to do it but failed - cos they forgot to tell the good stories and it seems the same is happening here, everything is being pushed aside and its all leading to the Mandoverse movie, and fook telling good fun interesting stories

Easy 8 atm

8 for me as well. Would have been more but for the pointless live or die Anakin episode that stalled the whole show for a week

And I also generally wasn't having too much of an issue with sabre fights, until this episode, not quite throne room bad, but for me it seemed stuff where it seems evident Rosie is doing it........next season she really shouldn't her double is so much better. Very jarring when front-on scenes look like Ob1 vs Darth in ANH, and then back scenes shes flipping everywhere and looks like Maul reborn

But solid conclusion - really enjoyed. Especially enjoyed the part when all the force ghosts came and destroyed Thrawn's ship like in Return of the king, really surprised to see the yoda and han solo force ghosts.......you must have given it like -11 for all the forceghostness

Good episode didn’t quite have the epicness but set up season 2 nicely

Show 8/10

Prob second favourite after Andor for me but mainly due to the connection I feel with the animated shows.

Hmm… As a final Ep, I give it a 7.5/10. As a season, a good 7.5.

I've had an issue with the fights since Force Awakens but I was more tolerant in those movies, as Rey and Kylo were amateurs. Ahsoka is a CW veteran and one of the greatest lightsaber wielders of all time, yet she moves like a sloth in this show.

its amazing she can even deflect blasters

Just gonna say it. I feckin hate seeing blasters deflected by lightsabers. It looks ridiculous and isn't even possible. Dumb as fack

M2 in 3rd place! Controversial String.

I've not seen the final episode yet but personally I'd say there are two series head and shoulders above the others - Andor and M2; they're excellent.

Then I think there's a reasonable gap to the good series - M1 and Ahsoka.

Then there's a big gap to the bottom 3 - OB1, M3 and BoB.
