I think we are beginning to see a pattern emerge.

Was just interested in what people might think about different possible scenarios. Cheers chaps

BREAKING: Eagle to challenge Corbyn leadership

Wonder how the England footballers voted? Did they manage to vote? Early postal vote maybe?

Harry Kane was one of the many that 'spoiled' their ballot card. We know this as he never managed to correctly put a cross in the box in his 3 games.

Shame, I thought it was going to be an actual eagle.

We will end up with free trade and the ability to cap immigration at a modest compromise amount imo

Basically free movement still but once quotas fill you have to wait until next year

We will get a better deal than Norway, that's a gimme

It's more than enough control to prevent mass, destabilising immigration and appease all but the extremists on both sides

I'd wager on this as the outcome

Control is choosing exactly who can come here and people with the right skills.

That is complete and total control

We won't get that

Compromise will win out so enough people can come away with a 'win'.

I despise liar blair, who sold us Wmd to push for war, thus creating the recruiting ground for isis, years after chaos.
Blair came to Ulster topush remain, telling us brexit equated to starting violence here.
This from the liar who let paramilitary prisoners out, and who was so cosy with Gaddafi.

One reason why I backed leave.

Politics is the art of compromise, and business, the art of making money, so the uk and eu will be grand.

Corbyn and labour though....hmmm

Well it's as you putting a quota is saying exactly how many are coming in which in turn controls it

But the original comment said free movement until the quota fills. How do we control the freedom of movement before the quota fills?

Don't like that deal at all

posted on 29/6/16

It will be more complicated than a one sentence deal obviously with certain exceptions (maybe students for instance) and % from any one country but a deal will get done that involves both compromise and wins for both sides.

At the end of the day not doing a deal will be far too damaging for everyone. Contrary to the remainers on here the eu doesn't have that strong a hand to play. Their experiment is way too important to gamble away out of spite. Tempers will cool and we will do a deal and get on with life.

Maybe they go for a Superstate, maybe we form some alliance of us the Nordics and the Swiss as a negotiating group. But that will be after the deal

posted on 29/6/16

nobody in countries such as italy, france, spain will ever want a superstate

if the Napoleonic bureaucrats in the EC push for that to happen, the whole thing will end

Have we managed to prevent people coming across as students and not studying yet?
