That was some leap!
Mudd posted a good list of eu regs we would be better off without
Vat on energy bills that hurt the poorest
No more child benefits to migrants who's kids don't even live here
Control of borders
Better fishing rights
Less overzealous restriction on the Financial sector
Good stuff for us

Cannot find that article now. I'll keep hunting, but there's another one here that looks at the economic benefits on a qualitative level.
http://www.economicshelp.org/blog/1386/economics/free-movement-of-labour/
The economic argument wasn't actually the most important consideration initially; for Europe it was seen as another mechanism to prevent cross-border scuffling. If France is full of Germans, for example, it's less likely German bombs will rain down on Paris at any given point in the future.
Might sound crazy now, but this is one of the key reasons why Europe saw free movement of people so early.

That particular original non-economic benefit I think we would all hope is null and void now, yes.
The economic benefits of free movement of labour are worth billions to EU states every year though.
And there are other existing non-economic benefits (as well as disbenefits, obviously).
I thought this guy was dead by now. Apparently not and still as utterly stupid as ever.
Tam Dalyell: MPs should have 'courage' to overrule Brexit vote
Yet another windbag to managed to make Labour totally unelectable.
MPs should have 'courage' to overrule Brexit vote
---------------
If MP's after such debate feel that it is in the national interest to over rule - they should do so.
As long as they can be open and explain the reasons for it in a reasonable manner the man on the street shouldn't have a problem for it.
They should also make provision that the gripes that 52% of the votes cast identified to be addressed in some way.
