Remain you lost it's time you moved on and accepted the peoples choice.

Ian Hislop has it spot on

Making an arguement, fine. Whinging like a bunch of cry babies like most of the comments on here, less so.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's dismissive and you know it. I've seen plenty of sound arguments made about immigration, the economy etc etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Those arguments failed to win the referendum though, unlike a general election this is a one time vote.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So what's your point?

I feel leaving the EU is a bad idea. Why should I abandon my beliefs because the country voted the way it did?

Which arguments won the day in the referendum.. hmmm

£350m to the NHS every week?
Turned out to be a lie

"Breaking point" poster playing on xenophobia from UKIP?
Featuring Syrian refugees in Slovenia, nothing to do with the U.K. at all!

Taking back control of our borders?
Despite us having full control of our borders and having more immigration from outside the EU!

So.. If those arguments won the day despite being irresponsible, at best, only an idiot would claim those are "winning" arguments!

Incredibly stupid idiot here.

350m was never promised to the NHS it was stated that it could be used for the NHS if we wanted to, as an example of what we were paying to the EU and had no control over.

The poster was a take on the Labour isn't working and previous Labour poster about the conservatives.
The fact they were syrian had nothing to do with the references. And was a metaphor for uncontrolled EU movement to the UK.

Full control of our borders means we can look at the passport of an EU citizen, then wavr them through unhindered. were is the control there?

If you think these were the reason us idiots voted to leave then you and the rest of remain are the true idiots here, not us.

I think you'll find that £350m would NOT be available to the NHS even if they wanted it to be... The £350m figure was false, wrong, and here you are still defending it and calling others an idiot even after the point has been rebuffed by leave campaigners themselves!

You deluded idiot!

------
Unbelievable, you are defending that xenophobic poster. Even some leave campaigners said it was disgusting.

It was a take on labour isn't working? The only thing it was a take on was campaign images from 1930's Germany.

I take it back about you being a deluded idiot.

You're a deluded, xenophobe apologist, idiot xenophobe

As for this point... you really are mistaken, you are very wrong.

Every single passport is scanned at borders. Arriving at a UK airport every single passport is scanned, including those of UK citizens.

Let me guess, you don't get out much.. not surprising for a deluded, xenophobe apologist, idiot that you are.

Guna

"350m was never promised to the NHS it was stated that it could be used for the NHS if we wanted to, as an example of what we were paying to the EU and had no control over"

Yes it was promised. It was plastered all over the side of a bus that Boris & Gove toured the country in, look;

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3584627/The-Boris-blunder-bus-Boris-Johnson-accused-hypocrisy-kicks-nationwide-Brexit-tour-GERMAN-bus.html

It says 'we send the EU £350m, let's fund the NHS instead'

Where's the ambiguity there?

"The poster was a take on the Labour isn't working and previous Labour poster about the conservatives.
The fact they were syrian had nothing to do with the references. And was a metaphor for uncontrolled EU movement to the UK"

So despite everyone, even UKIP supporters, coming out and saying using a poster with Syrian refugees is dispicable you see nothing wrong with it?

Aren't you the lad that described Farage as a hero a few pages back?

"Farage got what he spent 17 years of his life to achieve. The man is a true hero in my eyes."

This was you

As for 'control of borders'. UK Border controls mean that EU citizens have their passports/I.D's checked upon entering the country, not the case when travelling between countries in Europe who are part of the Schengen agreement. EU citizens travelling here can still be denied entry fur various reasons.

Typical remainer resorting to insults.

I have sen a lot of your comments over the years on various subjects outside the normal football related ones and although I respect your beliefs I think they are sorely mistaken.

If putting the interests of my country before the interests of 450 million Europeans makes me a xenophobe then I will proudly wear that mantle.

If you think that means we will spend 350m on the NHS then you are a fool.

It didn't say that you assumed that is what it meant.

The thing is you have not put the interests of your country first.

You have actually harmed your country and countrymen

It is amazing you cannot grasp this simple concept

Thing is I didn't assume anything, that's why I didn't base it as one of the reasons to vote leave, unlike yourself.

Yes they didn't mean to say they'd spend £350m on the NHS. That's why Boris, your hero Farage & Gove came out afterwards saying it was a mistake and it wouldn't happen.

I have done nothing of the sort.

Remaining would cause more harm to our country which more people realised than you remainers will accept.

Give up trying to win the argument, you have lost already.
