Free movement of EU citizens is giving away border controls
-----------
Ok mate, considering we are still in the EU, try and board a flight to Frankfurt, a ferry to Calais without a passport or ID. See how far you get
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd get into anywhere in the EU with my EU passport no problem.
-------------
But not without one... which is what I was putting forward if you read it correctly.
Which means border controls are still in existence. do you understand ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Id get in no matter what. They couldn't do anything to stop me

What answer do you want red?
----------
Your answer, if you have one, of why Farage wanted to leave the EU so vociferously.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I gave you 4 of his reasons which he has said and you said they didn't count

clearly not the point he is making though, which is that in the EU we have no control over number of people who enter.
Why did anyone want to stay in the EU?
Why do you think he did red? Is it as he is "racist"

You can't get into a simple website without your user credentials, so you need to tone down your confidence of being about to go from the UK to the EU without a passport to try and prove your point.
Red is scraping rhe barrel here.

Why did anyone want to stay in the EU?
-------------
Access to the single market - of affluent countries which happen to be very close to Britain
Choice of students to study in 27 different countries
Freedom to travel unrestricted throughout the EU
Opportunity to settle wherever, possibility to work, live, buy property.
European healthcare throughout the EU
EU legislation is designed to promote environmental, product, and welfare standards.
EU legislation is designed to promote standardisation across Europe
Trading as a bloc of 500m allows more leverage in trade deals
Freedom to travel unrestricted throughout the EU
-----------
What about your border controls?

It was an example that the UK wouldn't be able to truly pick and choose every single person that entered the UK. Skilled workers would bring dependants with them, so allowances would have to be made for this.
The numbers were disputed but the principle stands.

If we were part of Schengen we wouldn't need the passport.
The U.K. opted out of Schengen to keep border controls.

So you admit to needing a passport because you now realise there are border controls.
You still need a Schengen visa to travel between the countries or those ID cards for EU citizens in the schengen area
