Yeah and EU citizens need the ID card to travel between the countries, we will need a passport. Not really much difference.

Laws, borders, rights, courts
-------------------
Laws - we always had control, we could veto EU legislation.
Borders - we always had control, only the UK border force controls our borders. U.K. Citizens didn't object to being able to retire, live and work all over Europe.
Rights - what do you mean by "rights" ?
Courts - courts uphold laws, which is mentioned above
So yeah, what do you mean by rights? We had more rights than we've ever had as part of the EU - do explain further.. Cheers

Ive been saying that for ages but somehow never got through
Just because you veto EU legislation doesn't mean its not going through
We as a country can create our own human rights
We can have all of our court processes in our country
These were some of the arguments of leave, you say this isn't true...

Ah great, Dumb and Dumber (you can decide between yourselves on who's who) on the same point.
You don't need an ID card to travel between the countries if you go via road. There are no border controls between schengen countries.
You can drive from France all the way to Greece without being stopped.
Maybe you didn't know this, but you should have researched before making a point of "EU citizens need the ID card to travel between the countries"

it's irrelevant anyway, when people talk about control of our borders it's to do with freedom of movement and us having zero control on the numbers who enter from the EU. Nothing to do with passports or visas or ID cards.

The UK has voted for 96% of EU legislation.
The U.K. vetoed the plan to put tariffs on Chinese steel, and guess what, the plan didn't go ahead. (Scuppered the British steel industry with Chinese steel swamping europe but at least we had control of the legislation right?)
There are no border controls between schengen countries.

There's not meant to be but countries have imposed their own borders because of the refugee crisis, another example of the mess the EU is in.

A line trotted out quite often is about foreigners coming here and getting housing and social benefit. Does anyone know what is available in other EU states?
For example if I went to Spain, Germany or Poland, would I be entitled to the same treatment as the Spanish, German and Poles get in the UK?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're entitled to, or were, the same benefits in those countries as a French/Spanish/Polish national. You're also entitled to, with the EHIC card, healthcare which is invariably more expensive than NHS treatment.

Those reasons (despite being unsound) were part of his campaign, the question of why he campaigned so vociferously despite not being an MP or part of the official vote leave side is still not answered.

The question was why was he campaigning as vociferously as he did to leave the EU despite not being an MP or part of the official vote leave side.
It's not that he couldn't/ shouldn't, but why did he? There were plenty campaigning, but how many embarked on a billboard campaign as vociferously as Farage?
He certainly influenced people, as De Gea's Legs "take back control" post shows.
He shirked accountability saying he's not an MP or part of vote leave, and has now left UKIP with the U.K. still in the EU.
So why did he want to leave the EU and campaign as hard as he did on unsound principles?
Couldn't be self interest could it?
I admit I don't know what would be, but I imagine it wouldn't be very balanced or maybe more would take advantage of the situation. I think this kind of imbalance is where many feel aggrieved. Whether it is correct or not people without sufficient housing see foreign nationals getting the perks of the UK somewhat irksome, when they cannot get the same in the other countries
