Wonder what country he has in mind? Can’t see Spain with his strong Catalan views. England?

Germany
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Brazil. Maybe Mexico. Or a middle eastern country.

City spend at least £100m every summer. They only need a couple of signings to leave the squad in good shape for when he leaves. Their biggest problem will be that anyone replacing him will be a massive downgrade.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
they need to replace at minimum 4 players, forwards aren't cheap so 100m isnt gonna touch the sides there
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah they're in real trouble actually.

Yet another good post. Kudos.

How is KDB the wrong side of 30? 😹 he’s just turned 30.

I’m sure the likes of Grealish, Foden, Sterling, (potentially) Haaland, Stones, Dias, Rodri, Ederson and co will be fine

Surely he wants to win something? He isn’t gonna leave City to manage some sh-t country just for the money, not yet anyway.

He seems to pick very strong sides that are well equipped to win, I thought Brazil aren’t that good at the moment?

Anything past 29 is the wrong side of 30.

But £100m minimum is still a big budget. How many players that will need replacing remains to be seen. KDB could keep going for years, Fernandinho doesn’t play much anyway and Gundogan will be phased out the next two years. Walker is probably the one that they’ll have problems with.

It’s wishful thinking to believe that when Pep leaves them they’ll be in a mess squad wise. Their squad building is too good, and they’ve got too many players at a good age, for that to happen.

Replacing him with anyone near his class will be by far their biggest problem.

"You learn languages, cultures, to travel and see other places is nice, also for the family" Interview with ESPN

I think he wants to wind down, live in a place with sunny climes

He ruled out Argentina for the high demands and prrssure!

Wonder if Pep will finish the game with a tinge of regret over his failure to heed SAF's advice and manager a real English club with a rich history.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He has made his own history. What difference does it make to him or his achievements if the club he manages won umpteen titles back when he was in nappies in Spain.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The real club I was referring to was Utd not Liverpool!

He’s afraid of Tuchel and rightly so.

Spain is the obvious choice and they've some great youth coming through.

Not like the international game is full of world class managers either, he'd probably walk it.
