Pep’s gonna follow other managerial ex Barca luminaries like El Tel and manage Australia. Can’t wait.

😂

What new languages do Oz offer? And culture?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A different type of English where he can add ‘O’ onto words and the culture speaks for itself.

I once went to an Australians BBQ and I asked him what kind of meat it was.

"Brown meat mate"

Wonder how his skill set would work as an international manager. He wouldn’t have the time that I can imagine he craves to get with his players. Guess he’s still a brilliant manager in an area that lacks a lot of good managers.

How can Pep refuse such simplicity?

Pretty sure your average Aussie has a better grasp of food than in Britain.

Spain is the obvious choice and they've some great youth coming through.

Not like the international game is full of world class managers either, he'd probably walk it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’ll be interesting to see how he’d do at international level. Pep’s grateness is in the work on the training ground and they just don’t get the time in international football to work on that.

Obviously two years is a long time in football, but the talent pool in Spain isn’t the best right now. So he’d be working without the same advantages he has at club level.

If his club career is anything to go by, the cuuuunt will probably go and manage France.

Exactly. An Australian is considered culture if he doesn’t fart in his wife’s face during their wedding vowels.

There are 9 Michelin star restaurants in Australia.

There are 184 in Britain.

Tbf the food scene in Australia is superb. So many influences from around the world and you could walk around Sydney and find some of the best restaurants in the world. Not so much the outback of course, but for Australian outback, I see that and raise you the north of England.

And your average Brit doesn’t visit these Michelin star restaurants which are most likely virtually all in London. Don’t think Australia is full of Paul Hogans.

Well, far fresher food and a propensity for more fruit and veg in the diet. The average Brit looks like he showered in gravy in the morning.

Only 66 of 184 are in London.

Our food scene is world class. Australia, not so much.

Still, I don't mind a decent surf and turf with a pitcher of larger myself.

Most places in Britain will give you a diverse option, and quality, that most other countries just don’t have. Always found the ‘English food is crap’ thing a bit lazy, because traditional English dishes don’t really dominate our food culture - it’s going massive foreign influence. It’s why London is so good for food.

Maybe older ones but I think younger Aussies generally have a better understanding of food. I live in London, loads of great food to eat, most of it from cuisine from around the world rather that home cuisine. Travel outside of London and the food is generally awful apart from the odd fancy pub in the middle of nowhere.

Rob

That’s the key difference, produce. Australia has some of the best produce in the world, the UK has potatoes.

Also aren't your livestock and poultry pumped full of growth hormones?

Food standards are higher in the UK
