The squad we put out yesterday cost more and is paid more Duke.

seriously its not that simplistic.

Fek Lee earns more than every player in the 3rd division put together.
So If we put him and 10 15 years olds out you could make the same claim.

I totally disagree Duke. What was Allys excuse last year in the Euro Qualifiers, Cups and League (prior to admin)?

You have yet to answer.

I cant remember

Might have been the same as Walter after Kaunus

Teams get beat....

None of this explains why our team cannot pass a ball and plays with no tactics other than long ball.

I've seen conference teams play with more skill. I've seen div 3 teams play with more skill.

Ally gets away with excuse after excuse. Le Guen got sacked for less and I'm including last year.

Well, as a Celtic fan, I was one of the fans who wanted Neil Lennon gone from Celtic after the 3-3 draw with Killie last season. Why? I just thought that he was not the man for the job judging his time as Celtic manager overall. It was no reflection on how I felt about the man & his contribution to my club through the years, it was about what I felt was best for the club & that will always be the most important thing for me when I judge a Celtic manager. As it turns out, I was wrong and Lennon has not only learned from his mistakes but exceeded my expectations of what I could realistically hope he can achieve. I'm still not ashamed to admit though that it's what best for Celtic which is my primary concern.

I personally can't stand McCoist and I'm enjoying everything that's happened to him over the past year, but it's the opinions of Rangers fans that really count here. You've got to ask yourself

Will he learn from his mistakes?

Would Rangers benefit from having a another manager who would be better suited to the task in hand?

Is being a legendary player and popular figure among the supporters really a good enough reason to back him as a manager?

Rangers fans won't turn on McCoist unless things get way worse, but look at the opposition dugout last night. A manager with years of experience of assembling decent teams with bargain basement signings who would probably consider most of the Rangers' current squad as players he could only dream of working with at this point. The likes of Jimmy Calderwood, Billy Davies, Stuart McCall or Terry Butcher would be far better suited to Rangers right now, in my opinion.

If we had a good striker last year, then we would have went through against Malmo.

I wouldn't take Butcher or McCall failed in England in management. No better than Levein either of them.

I would take Davies in a heartbeat.

Right I'm off lads.

It's all about opinions. We all support the club and we all want what's best for the club. We all want to go about it in different ways.

Laters.

A fair few.

Although the Malmo performance wasn't McCoist's fault, rather Jelavic playing utter pi.sh and then the traitor getting himself aff the cant that he is.

he had a mature a decent team.
He ruined it.
He also didnt have to contend with the issues Ally has,

And yes their are probably better mangers out there but the guy deserves the chance to get us promoted.

Is that sentiment in part

Fekn right its sentiment but results are what he will live and die with.
November and top of the league aint the time.

Aye Whyte took the gamble, Murray put him in the position to take that gamble.

Im afraid Allys gonna stick around guys. No doubt you will get promoted but even I could get you promoted from that league! I think you just have to hope he learns a lot from the next two years, before he is seriously challenged

I honestly can't remember the last time Butcher had a job in England but I do remember that he was a miserable failure down there around 20 years ago. He's done a good job with 2 SPL teams though and has shown that he can learn from his mistakes which is the important thing right now. Same with McCall who has also done a great job with Motherwell.

"why not"

He'll probably get another job down south.
